Instead of being required to eat dinner at another chain restaurant while passing through Roanoke Rapids, N.C. we have enjoyed eating at David's restaurant in downtown RR. The food is well prepared, the menu is varied and the prices are acceptable. David, the owner, was club manager for several large country clubs in the Washington, DC area and has brought... More

Food is fair, at best, it's over priced and the wait staff is fair. Sunday buffet, however, is very good. Decent spread and good price.

Live in the area and frequent David's often and have never been disappointed. It is a true diamond in the rough for the area. The quality of service and food is excellent Their presentation as little equal outside of Raleigh. They occaisionally will have music on a Saturday night to add to the enjoyment. If you are looking for a... More

Went there for dinner and was surprised by the cozy setting. The service was great but expected more out of the food, we ordered one pasta dish and one fish dish. They were both quite taste less and there was way to much sauce, which made it feel greasy.

Was driving down 95 and ended up in town. Wanted something different than roadside chain food so I followed others advice and drove just another few miles down the road and ended up here. The experience was quite delightful. The service was great...large full glass of wine. And the food was cooked just right. I had the veal and it was... More

Nothing like kicking back and enjoying a great meal in a cozy setting. Food is wonderful. The Sunday lunch buffet is worth it.

The food was mediocre, but this is obviously the best spot for locals to dine and chit chat. The service was exceptional. It's seems to be a great community restaurant to interact with each other.

Good menu selections, reasonable wine prices. Friendly and welcoming. Waitress could have been a bit more attentive.
