With its Colombian influence and eclectic Dia de los Muertos décor, Gonza Tacos y Tequila is far from your stereotypical Mexican restaurant. On their menu you’ll find items like Ceviche del Dia, Ensalada del Huerto, Chiles Endiablados and Callo de Hacha Tacos. As well as unique desserts like Flan de Coco and crowd favorite, Talega de Platano. And what would a legitimate tequila joint be without a robust offering of over 75 types of tequilas. I went to Gonza on a friend's recommendation. No complaints. Food was delicious and the service was friendly and fast without making you feel like you were in a hurry. I followed the server's advice on the dish I ordered, and was really glad I did. Atmosphere wasn't special, but comfortable. Would certainly go back.

We frequent this restaurant when we are in Raleigh. The short rib tacos are to die for and the rice and beans have a flavor that I have yet to find anywhere else. Great place, great staff, great food!

The food was amazing everything was fresh and served hot by an attentive waitstaff.
Out server Lauren took care of us like family.
Can't wait to get back.

Have been to GT&T Many times but 1st time at the Hillsborough Rd. Location! Food and decor is very familiar and always Great! Haley our waitress went out of her way to be nice, accommodating, and had excellent recommendations! Kudo’s to her and the staff for good food and Fun! I’ll be back!

My kids loved the tacos, quesadilla, and the dessert. The the take out order was not exact. The phone was ringing off the wall! Great food otherwise!!!

The Tequila in the pitchers were a little light. The food was amazing. Our server Virginia was very accommodating and awesome.

Upscale, clean attractive dining room, helpful and friendly wait staff. The food is terrific - tasty and very attractively served. The tacos as on the small size, but delicious, and the "side" which comes with the order is on the large size.

This is by far the best tacos I have ever had in my life. I wish they had a location in central Florida. The tacos are rich in flavor! The chicken tortilla soup is amazing as well. The flavor has an awesome lingering flavor.

I've been to the Durham spots a handful of times, but had never had the pleasure of trying one of the Raleigh spots. This location is great, right on Hillsborough, with giant windows that they open to the outside in good weather - makes for great people-watching. The menu and offerings are just what I'd expect from the Durham spots. The prices are perhaps a bit high, but the food is always delicious and the service is always great.

4 of us all had tacos, 2 chicken, one fish and one shrimp. All were good. Server was eager to please and checked on us several times. Only thing that we did not like was that we were put in a back room where there were families with small children and it was quite noisy as a result. There were booths available in the "big person" part of the restaurant, but for some reason we were not seated there.

I never write reviews but this place socked me, we went on May 5th and they served us everything and I mean everything even the wine in plastic utensils!!!! Forks spoon plates glasses everything! I understand that some days can be crazier for the restaurants but come on! Plastic! You can do better ! The world is changing and things that wasn’t “bad” in the past now is becoming a huge problem so I believe if you want to “stay” in this “new” world you must do some changes and starting taking care of the planet .

Stopped here simply because it was so close to our hotel. Ordered a quesadilla with chicken and nachos with pork to split with my two children. Food was delicious. Great service as well. Great place to eat if you’re visiting the campus or surrounding area.

This place serves Latin food, and the interior of the place is decorated with macabre dia de los muetros figures and wall decorations in bright colors. Appetizers came immediately, and the con queso and guacamole were fresh and tasty. Our tacos were also good and the steak was very tender.

Gonza really knows how to prepare Mexican food. Go on a nice day and enjoy a seat next to the street. I love the pork tacos. My wife prefers the tinga chickin salad.

Great place for quick tacos. The variety is fantastic and the atmosphere is very relaxing. Make sure you ask for their hot sauce when your chips and salsa come!
