This is a fantastic bar. As you walk in you get the feeling of an Irish pub. The wooden bar is quite long and behind the bar are about 100 beers on tap. The bartender is very nice, knowledgeable and will let you taste as many beers as you want. Do not hesitate to ask his recommendation. We did eat... More

I Love Flying Saucer! It is a must if you are visiting Downtown Raleigh. It offers a unique bar atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating. The food and beer selections are wonderful :) I recommend the Saucer Dipster to eat if you enjoy a French Dip. I CRAVE this sandwich! Its a great size, the beef is tender, the bread... More

Went for a light dinner but couldn't do it. Had a shepherd's pie accompanied by pretzels. Pretzels and soft, hot, and delicious. Shepherd' pie was nicely done and my spouse's salad was exactly as desired. Double chocolate beer is not to be missed.

The food here is good and place is clean. I think though this place is better suited for younger folks who like to drink with their meal. It was a little noisy for me being in my 60's

A great place to chat, relax, meet or enjoy dinner with friends or family over a variety of beer or cocktails. The atmosphere is very cosy and a nice view of down town Raleigh. Even in winter the gas heaters add warmth to atmosphere. Being a vegetarian I enjoyed the sumptuous menu of Cheese Fries, vegetarian Pizza and Duo Dip.... More

My best friend and I are glad we chose the Flying Saucer for our annual birthday lunch. The craft beers are plentiful, cold and fresh, and our knowledgeable server, Rachel, was always there with info and allowing us to taste samples. The food was super good, the service admirable and the staff extremely friendly. Don't miss this place!

This is one of the chain of Saucer locations around the country. They are all fairly similar though the selection of beers vary slightly from region to region. This one in Raleigh is pretty easy to find, parking can be a challenge so if you are going to drink anyway, just get an Uber or cab. The menu is fantastic.... More

Great choice and selection of beers! Get the soft pretzels! We ate dinner here too but I think next time we will have to skip the appetizer because we were so full!

Undoubtedly, the best thing about this place is the beer. Dozens are on tap or are available in bottle form; great for the travelling beer snob as much are local to North Carolina. The food is pub food, but a bit more upscale: very sandwich, burger, and wrap heavy. Flying Saucer is a chain, though (if that matters to you... More
