This is by far the best bar in downtown Raleigh! I went in single and looking for a cold beer and food! I left feeling like I had not only found great food, awesome choice of beer and a place that felt like I was a local! Thanks for an awesome experience when a few 100 miles from home; GREAT... More

I enjoy eating there for lunch. It is close to my office, and low key. They have a good lunch menu that ranges from salads with goat cheese to Bratwurst and chicken tenders with fries that includes a daily special. They offer a rewards card for lunches, after 7 lunches, you get one on the house. They have always been... More

I was in Raleigh on a business trip. I was recommended by hotel staff to visit this place and wow am I glad I did. The staff was great and very helpful in trying to find one of the many many beers that they offer that would suit me. I ended up trying the "Battlefield bock" wow it was great.... More

The Flying Saucer is a great place to stop in and have a "cold" one. They have 200+ different types of beers , you will be hard pressed to ask for one they do NOT have. I personally make sure every time I am in Raleigh that I stop in for one (or four) beers. So if you like beer... More

We were here for a bachelor party and they took great care of us. Loved the ambience and the amazing beer selection. Flights were no problem and the server didn't even flinch when we asked for one (I know they can be a pain). Highly recommended!

I am the first one to admit that the atmosphere and selection of beers at the Flying Saucer is OUT OF THIS WORLD! (pun intended) However, on busier nights such as Friday and Saturday I have had an issue with the servers waiting a long time to check on us (its typically seat yourself) or even having to flag down... I was here for a conference. When I travel I always try to find the best pace for microbrew. This trip I dedicated myself to a circuit, walking from the hotel area downtown, through the warehouse district, and back to my hotel. I stopped in at several places. Most of them left me unimpressed. This place did not. They know... More

People like the beer, and there are lots of choices, but I'd pass on the food. The roast beef is super dry, and the bread is yucky.

Great selection of many types of beers. Even had so special collaboration brews on tap. Can't beat the soft fresh pretzels to go with the tasty beverages.
