We were on a walking tour of Raleigh. Stopped in for a beer. Very impressed with the styles and the soft pretzel we ordered. Will return.

Stopped in to Clouds Brewing for lunch on a Saturday. I had heard a lot about the place, but this was my first time checking it out. They had a great drink selection, the staff was attentive and friendly, good location and atmosphere. I was...surprised at how great the food was and the size of the portions! I knew the drinks would be great, but the food was excellent as well. I will definitely be back to Clouds soon and often!More

We had beer and a snack here after visiting the nearby science center. I really enjoyed the variety of beer available from this brewery and others. We ordered loaded chips that were loaded and tasty. The bartender seemed to be serving the early crowd alone...but was quick and helpful. It was a great experience.More

Nice people - very good food! The concept is very cool with the self pour beers. A young lady had just started bartending there, walked me through the process - was very cool.

We read that it was German inspired and unless the amount of beer on hand and the giant pretzel is what makes it German inspired, it’s not. I was really looking forward to a reminder of Germany and it was far from that. The hybrid...German/American beer was not good. The appetizers were good. I ordered Salmon and it was ok, nothing spectacular, my husband got a burger/brat burger and it said it was “interesting”, just a mix of meats with not great sauerkraut. We had a friend or chicken schnitzel and it looked overcooked a little bit it was the huge portion one would expect being schnitzel, the Reuben burger looked like burger with dried pastrami on it. We weren’t impressed, plus there was a corporate party going on that we were seated (with prior reservations) in the middle of. So we had people mingling all around us plus loud dance music, making it impossible to hear one another.More

We visited late, around 10pm and stayed at the bar. We tried a variety of beers including meade. The bartender was funny, nice and well informed. This is a comfortable atmosphere, I definitely recommend it if you are looking for a stress free night.

Limited parking being downtown but great spot for drinks with decent food and appetizers. Big pretzel is a must try. Outdoor seating and welcomes pets. Place is large never seen it full.

We arrived right as the doors were opening and the food was excellent. With a little German flair, their German potato salad was spot-on and while a soft pretzel and beer cheese is always a winner with me, this pretzel was warm, almost juicy and...the beer cheese was fantastic.More
