This is a hole in the wall restaurant. Even has a trailer park in the back. But you will really enjoy the experience. Original owners still working there all these years. Daughter is waitress and granddaughter is a talented little assistant. BBQ is good. Sides are excellent. Try the collards. Hush puppies are slender and sweet. I like there sauce... More

The pulled pork sandwich was moist and flavorful. I wish they had a mustard bar b q sauce to put on it. Their hot sauce was ok. I got my plate about three minutes after I ordered. The hush puppies look like sausage link donuts. They were great, kinda sweet outside and seasoned hush puppy inside.

They have good barbacue chicken and a whole host of country vegetables. They are all good. The before dinner hush puppies are dangerous and addictive. Make sure you leave room for the chicken

I came in to try their ribs. They start you out with a basket of hush puppies. They were great. The ribs were not very smoked and seemed to have been wrapped in foil because they did fall off the bone were that to soft like they had been steamed. Probably from being wrapped in the foil. The fried okra... More

OK - so I drive by this place as it was closing the first evening that we were in the area and thought I found a goldmine that no one knew about. I came past the next day a saw that I was wrong...the parking lot was packed for lunch. Finally came back later that evening to get take out... More

A hole in the wall type of place, but you should not pass it by. Even the fire department gets dinner here. Staff was friendly.

I was underwhelmed. The BBQ was okay but I was expecting more deep smoky flavor, but maybe that is just a regional difference based on my comparison with joints like The Dinosaur BBQ in NY. Ole Time had a very good and traditional Carolina BBQ sauce heavy on the vinegar. The fried chicken was lacking seasoning. Crispy yes, but bland.... More
