You can't go wrong with any choice on their menu ! The collards are delicious as is the country style steak. Or if you want a salad , they have homemade tuna and chicken salads as well. The sweet tea is not too sweet and you really feel the vibe of good old NC cooking !

I'm almost mad because I live in Canada and I'll never be able to match that here!! We also ordered the... More

Had lunch before NC State campus tour. The food was yummy and portions were big. Yiu will not go hungry. Mashed potatoes were good. Fried Green Tomatoes were yummy and had more of a beer batter. The biscuits and hush puppies were good too.

Been several times through the years. Service is always top notch. Took my two sons to introduce them to molasses with butter on their biscuits. Neither was a fan, but I am. One son did absolutely love the giant pancake with chocolate chips inside. No syrup needed. The link sausage is my favorite, along with the molasses and grits with... More

I have not been to North Carolina in many years and wanted to get a taste of the great North Carolina food that I remember from when I was a kid. The State Farmers Market Restaurant filled the bill and my belly! I ordered a BBQ pork dinner with crowder peas and fried okra. All of the items were excellent!... More

With higher prices, mediocre service, and average food, (make that smaller portions), there is not much to say.

Ate brunch. Dont expect mimosas, fresh delicious tasty country breakfast food. Family ambiance, great service. No complaints. Then ho shoping for local wine and candy at the market next door. Makes for a relaxing Sunday.

Fresh seafood! Great staff! Plenty of inside and outside seating. Food is great! Family friendly. Loved their jumbo shrimp and clams!
