Just great food and service! The steaks were excellent, juicy and cooked to order. Sides were very good too. The staff was courteous and quick.

We have had many great meals and times at the barn. The wild Turkey lounge is my favorite. The place is loaded with character and great people. The owner Vann is first class...she is always floating and engaging guests. Chef Walter continues to put out consistent quality food. Book the wine cellar for a world class group meal...don't miss the... More

My wife and I recently joined another couple for dinner in the Wild Turkey Lounge. We had burgers and appetizers which were tasty! The service was good. Not exceptioanal, but good. As I left I was shocked when I walked out to see behind the counter a NC Restaurant Inspection rating of 91.5. I'm waiting for the next review before... More

The world famous Angus Barn is a legendary institution in Raleigh. From celebrities, to wine lovers, to food lovers, this place has catered to all and always provides a memorable experience. Ask to go on a wine cellar tour, check out the Wild Turkey Lounge upstairs, marvel at the gun collection inside, or hang out back with a fine cigar... More

If you are in Raleigh on a business trip or with friends then the Angus Barn is the place for you. The Barn is usually busy so make advance reservations. The meal portions are large! I couldn't finish my rack of ribs but enjoyed every bite!

If you remember getting dressed up to go to a Brown Derby as a kid and being fascinated then this will bring back great memories. It's a throwback to fine family dining. The restaurant and bars are warm and dimly lit that enhances the atmosphere. Great for business, families or couples. There are so many rooms and levels you'll get... More

We have been going to Angus Barn since I was in school at UNC in 70's. Last night it was packed (as usual). We had a party of 15 and could not have asked for more. Ambiance as always is one of a kind. Waiting for your table whether inside or outside was easy and just looking around at the... More

The Wild Turkey Lounge at the Angus Barn is a place I hadn't been for years until friends decided to meet up there with someone who was coming in to RDU. It turned out to be a convivial spot for a drink and the food we ordered for snacks was quite good: shrimp cocktail were huge plump shrimp with a... More

Lived in Raleigh for over 30 years and made my first visit to The Angus Barn. Was not impressed. The steak was good but not worth $48. Staff and service was about average. No desire to return.

This place used to be great! I have lived in Raleigh for 10 years and this used to be one of my favorite places to go for steaks and burgers. The food quality and service have slowly declined and it all culminated last night for me. I was taking a client and some co-workers out for dinner and drinks so... More
