First impression of Angus Barn was it reminded me of a Cracker Barrel. Not the first impression I wanted. White wine list was very limited . The restaurant is more of a family style busy noisy restaurant. The cauliflower that was served had black mold specs all on it ,the bread was a sweet dough with no other choices . Vegetarian... They are known for their steaks and it was really good, but I do not think anyone can cook a steak as well as I can. My girlfriend and I have been several times this year and Everything I've had there is great. It is a little inconsistent between the lounge and dining room, but solid either way you go.... More

One of the best wine lists in the country, from the lowly $20/bottle to over $3000. So, ask your waiter for the tour of the wine cellar when you've finished dining. The beef is excellent, as is the service - it's never been a disappointment. They don't call it the "Angus" barn for nothing. Our family will never forget our... More

The overall ambiance of this restaurant is simply awesome. The service was great. The food was absolutely amazing. And the local beer choices were fabulous. We had a great time. Enjoyed a couple of beers upstairs while waiting for our table. And even the bartenders there were great. If you love steak, you have to try this place.

This is one of those destination places that are reserved for special occasions. Don't get me wrong. The atmosphere is fun and entertaining. The loft bar is absolutely great, and the cheese snacks are wonderful when you're waiting 45 minutes for a table. Really good selection of single malt Scotch. The problem is that the last three times my wife... More

I recently moved to the area and heard rave reviews of Angus Barn from my neighbors. I was not disappointed in my first visit! I enjoyed a romantic steak dinner with wine from the award winning, huge list of wines. The homemade crackers and cheese were a great start with some other nice surprises during the meal. Perfect place for... More

Absolutely loved it. We went early went to the loft had some drinks snacked on the cheese bar. We had a couple ribeye steaks and a fillet like them very much but what was killer was the Tomahawk steak that we tried. You need at least two or three people to finish it but it was outstanding. Desserts weren't that... More

Each time we have eaten at Angus Barn, we felt it was a celebration. We have celebrated birthdays and holidays here, as there individual meals are fabulous (BEST steaks), but also I have gone to the buffet there on Thanksgiving Day. Just try to get past the dessert tables! Beautiful service, as well. And if you go, ask to tour... More

We went here with corporate people the night before a presentation, in Raleigh. It's a nice place with a friendly bar to wait in. The steaks are a decent size and quality but not anything beyond a chain restaurant type of cut. In my experience, if they recommend toppings on a steak it needs those toppings. I went with the...
