Lily's has great pizza. I think it is one of the top pizzas in raleigh. The pizzeria is often very smokey. The delivery times are often quoted 1-1.5 hrs. When they tell you the time on the phone it is almost as if they are trying to talk you out of ordering all together. I find myself saying...yes...still want the... More

Visited from out of town with my wife and 3 kids (10, 8, and 6 yo). I had a good lunch here 6 years ago and figured I would take the family. After we ordered, we stood and waited 15 minutes for one of the six empty tables to be cleared. We weren't impressed by the lack of attentiveness. When... More

Lily's is frequently rated "best pizza" in the area and the pizza is very good -- but for pizza purists it is not traditional pizza -- but still worth a try There are lots of options for crusts and toppings and an interest to use natural ingredients. The ambiance is a little funky -- and perhaps an acquired taste -... More

We love Lilly's pizza and often visit when in town with friends. Their crust is sweet and yummy. The big star is an awesome pizza--sounds odd but delicious! The inside ambiance is loud and sort of dirty. The lemon tahini dressing on the house salads are an incredible taste and price.

My husband and I visited Lilly's on a Monday night when they were having $2 draft beers on tap. Maybe because of that it was very crowded. I didn't realize I was going to have to order at the counter and then find a seat. We ended up just sitting at the bar. But it just seemed unorganized and haphazard.... More

I love to actually eat Lilly's pizza, but I don't love going inside. I feel creeped out and claustrophobic. I also don't love smelling like pizza all day- which will happen if you eat inside. We recently went for a work birthday lunch on a rainy day, which was awesome because no one was there...with no where to park and... More

Great little hideaway place with some of the best PIZZA! We had a hand tossed pepperoni which was wonderful! The crust was delicious and just the right texture. My son had the Stromboli and could only eat half it was so big. My daughter, who has a gluten allergy had the GF 'big star'! It was amazing! I plan to... More

Went to Lilly's on the advice of a friend while we were in Raleigh touring colleges. Very kitschy, eclectic decor. Pizza is awesome, but I would recommend not getting a lot of toppings. The crust is fabulous. The lasagna was HUGE and delish. Your meals will come out one at a time as they're ready - there was probably a... More

My boyfriend is from Raleigh. He insisted this was the first (and last place) we go when I went home with him to meet his family. It was easy to understand why! Tiny, casual joint with a laid back atmosphere, cheap beer and some of the more interesting, delicious pizza I've ever had. The dough is phenomenal and the spinach/portabella... More
