The folks at The Point are always pleasant. We love to go for their Chicken Pot Pie. Very different from the usual CPP as it has puff pastry on top and the rosemary really comes through in the sauce. A real favorite. (I can also vouch for their lasagna!)

Disappointed in our experience. Some of it may be us but when I go out to eat I have a few expectations. Good food, decent service, and a fair price. We showed up here just after 10 pm on a Saturday night so that was our first mistake. They should tell their customers on the website that this place turns... More

Just visited The Point for Sunday brunch and have to say it was very good and comes at a great value at $15 per adult. Everything you want is available with great biscuits and gravy, fried chicken, omelets and made to order waffles. Desert options are also there for the choosing. Service and attention to details were excellent. I think... More

Our waiter was very kind and made a great effort to meet all of our needs. The food was excellent. If you're not a seafood fan, I recommend the lasagna or fajitas.

Very extensive variety on the menu here. The portions are huge and definitely shareable. Quite hard and noisey room but Buzzy and nice. No sparkling water available which is a negative for me. We had the carpetbagger steak and some baked oysters to start. Food was hot and appetizing. Service was friendly and nice Will go back to try more... More

This restaurant is in one of the older, trendy neighborhoods of inner Raleigh, next to the iconic Rialto movie house. It mainly serves fresh fish and meat dishes, with nary a single vegetarian entree, strange nowadays. Disappointing. After asking, the server pointed out the vegetable quesadilla appetizer and the vegetable pizza. I had the wood fired medium pizza, which was... More

We went to The Point with friends. It is a very casual place which offers an extensive menu. I selected the Ruben sandwich, which was just average. A little too much kraut compared to meat. My friend ordered the fish and chips. The fish was nicely cooked and very crispy. But, it was nothing special. The service was a little... More

Soup, salad and pizza options. You can't beat the selection. My mom had a soup with grilled cheese sandwich in it. Crazy. Second soup this week with a knife and fork too. I went with a party melt. Great onion rings. Locals hang out here. Great service. They are proud of the neighborhood.

Tonight's experience here was our second and the service was excellent! My husband got the Prime Rib special which he said was flavorful and delicious. I ordered a stromboli as I had done on our first visit because I remembered enjoying it. The server did a wonderful job with our 9 person party and made some delicious suggestions. We had... More

I've only had dinner at The Point on two occasions and the food is average at best, and expensive for what you get. We came to The Point each time because friends wanted to come here, and were pretty disappointed with the quality of the food. Honestly, it was like cafeteria food. I think next time, we'll tell our friends... More
