Too many new high end restaurants are trying to be the "highest end" restaurant by pricing themselves into a status magnet. Caffe Luna has just maintained itself as a consistent performer with an innovative menu at prices that aren't trying to create a mystique. I...had the Parmigiana di Vitello - Veal Parmigiana Served with Penne Pasta, and it was cooked and prepared to perfection. My partner had Taglierini del Golfo - Fresh Pasta Sauté in Cream with Shrimp. Although there were on 5 shrimp in the dish, a little fewer than the norm I would think, it was seasoned and cooked perfectly. Cafe Luna is a great choice that will oMore

My family and I had an enjoyable dining experience at Caffe Luna last evening. We used Open Table for our reservation and we were greeted at the door an shown to our table. There is ample parking on the nearby streets or in the parking...garage. The wait staff worked as a team and were very attentive. Within minutes, we had water and oven fresh bread at our table. They provided olive oil and cracked pepper for dipping. The menu includes a variety of delicious authentic Italian meals. A kids menu is also available. Great food, great atmosphere - a must visit.More

My wife and I consider Cafe Luna one of a few favorite restaurants in Central North Carolina; however, that changed last night (2/27/21). On many previous occasions our wait staff was friendly, and attentive. The management would check-in on our experience and the selection and...food was exquisite. However, our last night was nothing like the past. The wait staff seemed rushed, and rude. The chef that delivered the food was as crude as a cafeteria cook. The meal was over seasoned with salt. We will be patronizing other fine dining establishments, because Cafe Lune is no fine dining experience.More

Great atmosphere, excellent service - delicious food!!! They bring bread and olive oil, then we also ordered the fresh mozzarella. I had fiocchi (spelling?) which was a fresh pasta filled with 4 cheeses and pear in a cream sauce - this is probably best thing...on menu. My husband got chicken parm which was good too with wonderful sauce. Highly recommend - get a reservation on Opentable, they were having a wedding in my part of the restaurant so I doubt we could have gotten in (or would have had to wait a long time) without a reservation. And there is a nice parking garage right there near restaurant too!!More

My husband and I came here for dinner and it was very nice. He had a steak while I had a pasta dish. The place was packed but distance was very well established as the restaurant is very large. Our waitress was nice but very...slow (we probably sat at the table for a solid 5-10 minutes before anyone came over to our table)--this was frustrating but we were patient. The food is VERY authentic and you can taste the flavor and the realness in it with every bite. The guys that come take your plates were EXTREMELY attentive and that to me was more impressive than our waitress. They would go through the restaurant ensuring dirty plates were not on tables--which is HIGHLY impressive. The attention to detail in here is great and something that is rare to see in restaurants these days. The overall staff there was very friendly, VERY professionally dressed (again something that is rare today). The only thing I would change is the bread-it is not tasty at all; very cold and no taste to it and when dipped in olive oil it just taste like soggy bread. We might come here again if in the areaMore

My husband, daughter and I had dinner last night. The homemade pasta was fabulous as was the Caesar salad. The best Italian meal I’ve had in a long time. The service was spot on as well.

Great food, wonderful atmosphere and the owner will very likely stop by your table to say hello and ask about your meal! They use Open Table reservation system which is so convenient! Try the Fantasia di Mare; yum!

We had a delicious meal Thursday night before attending a show at the NC Theater. The restaurant is located a short distance from the theater. Had the weather been warmer we could have walked between the two locations. My husband ordered the special and I...had the Farfalle al Salmone. Both dishes were delicious, a plate full of warm rich flavors. We ate here many years ago and it was just as wonderful as we remembered. Our server was attentive and pleasant. The food was brought out in a timely fashion. Five stars all the way.More
