My dining experiences at Second Empire have always been absolutely top notch. From the food to the staff to the atmosphere...it is as close to perfect as you can get in Raleigh. Best Restaurant in Raleigh by far.

Downstairs is fairly casual. Probably business casual is most appropriate. Upstairs is a bit dressier and more formal a setting.

Yes. The tavern is exceptionally nice. It has its own menu, however you can select from the dining room menu as well.

I agree with the previous answers. I think calling the restaurant is the best. And if it works for you to go then get ready for a fabulous meal!
