Went with a group of 9, at 7 on a Friday. We had reservations and we were seated promptly. Our waiter was so attentive, friendly, knowledgeable of the menu so we not only had a great time, we had one of the best meals ever!! The soup of the moment was Sweet Potato Bisque with Bacon Croutons and a swirl... More

We love Marguax's! We've dined outside, at the bar and in the main dining room. While the food was excellent every time, we definitely prefer (and recommend) sitting outside or at the bar. The bar has a lot of great energy and you don't feel rushed whatsoever. The staff is incredible and have great suggestions.

Margauxs is still one of the best kept secrets in Raleigh, tucked away in North Raleigh on Creedmoor Rd (easily accessible by 540), i fell in love with it years ago when the Rolling Stones dined there (if it's OK for Mick it is OK for me!) For me the allure is the 3 course prix fixe menu which is... More

If you in the area, you must come over here and have lunch or dinner. We were large group and they were able to serve us pretty good. The food was amazing, the service was great... I would come here again for sure.

I came here after a long stress day at a seminar. Being from out of town I was having a hard time finding/deciding on a place to eat at. I chose Margaux's. They have a nice wine selection and my server Erick was very good at suggestions for what to pair with the food. I started with the scallop starter... More

I decided to return to Margaux to see if the other experience was just an off day. This time was a smaller group as well. I was warmly greeted when I entered and the waitress was just as enthusiastic. She explained a few of the menu items I was debating between. The food was great and the portions were large... More

It is that day when one needs to feel good about something special. Therefore, my wife and daughter agreed to go to Margaux's . The young waitress was very sweet. The starters we ordered were very good especially the calamari, which is considered as a good meter for a quality restaurant. However, the grilled or steamed shrimp were not as... More

We (a party of 4) went to Margaux's for June 2016 Triangle Restaurant Week. Once seated we were offered the regular menu. In turn we requested the $25 dinner menu for Restaurant Week. We were shocked and disappointed to learn it doesn't exist. Margaux's offers their standard pre fixe menu. BUT instead of $25, charges $32.95. We pulled up their... More

This is likely the best unknown dining experience in north Raleigh. Great service, great bar, most excellent food. We enjoyed specials as part of "Restaurant Week." The service staff are adults as opposed to college students. This is an independent establishment - not a chain. Expect to pay top dollar, but to me worth every penny.

Did the "early bird" fixed price menu last Wednesday, and was surprised in the best way at how great the food was. There was a starter, entree and desert, all of which were very tasty. I especially liked the salmon dish, but everything was delicious. The service was great, too. Highly recommend!
