I'll give Bloomsbury Bistro 5 stars as I've visited on numerous occasions and have never had a bad experience. The place has also become a bit more special and warrants a few Bonus points, as the wife and I have made it an anniversary tradition ... The staff, service, atmosphere, and food are all top notch and we love how... More

It's been years since we last visited, but we dined there this past weekend, and no wonder Bloomsbury is alive and well. A fine dining environment without being stuffy. Service was excellent. Even though there were large parties there (nicely isolated in their own private rooms, so no noise factor), our meal courses were well timed. The menu is a... More

If I get to pick, my number one choice for dining in the Triangle is the Bistro, a neighborhood favorite that offers consistently excellent fine dining. The menu changes regularly and takes advantage of seasonal and local foods. Chef John Toler is highly creative but never outrageous; the inventive flavor combinations are sometimes surprising but always strike the perfect note.... More

We arrived relatively late, and I always find it impressive that the food is still very good and the service very good even if it is later in the evening, as so many restaurants fall off after 8:30 or 9:00. Despite our late arrival the staff was pleasant and efficient. The menu is diverse and locally sourced, with dishes prepared... More

This is a very nice, European style Restaraunt at Five Points. It is near the Rite Aid. The food and service are delicious. This is a high end place with very good service. This is a great place to take a date or a romance.

Unique menu, changes every 6 weeks or so, and always includes locally sourced ingredients. Some options are pricey but well worth the money. The cheese burger and other bar menu options are reasonably priced and never disappointing. Tony is a fantastic bartender, who can match the perfect drink for your taste or mood. He is also a very personable bartender... More

i went on the day of their new menu, we had caspacio with a dollop of cucumber sherbet. It was refreshing, well seasoned, innovative,in other words perfect. I had the special which was halibut with veggies and capers, again very nice, fresh, the fish was perfectly cooked and the capers added this extra special taste. the desserts, Cashew crusted fried... My husband and I visit Bloomsbury Bistro for our 14th wedding anniversary last Thursday. Our server, Bill, was extremely nice and passionate about his job! Their bread and butter is delicious. I ordered the Zucchini Feta Griddle cakes that came with grilled vegetables and a risotto base. It was so delicious I saved 1/2 of it for lunch the next... More
