Just simply a fantastic place for sushi! Try the fresh wasabi- the first time Ive seen it offered. Maybe the best Ahi I've ever had.

Went there on a family occasion. Fun to sit on the floor Japanese style. Frankly I'm too old for that, but we had a good meal. The soup was spectacular. Enjoyed the sushi too.
Been coming to Waraji for sushi over 15 years for excellent services and Japanese food which continue to be authentic and top quality. I usually have Japanese friends / co-workers visiting a few times a year, Waraji usually is their restaurant selection when they are in town. Bernard
A good friend suggested we meet here for a sushi dinner. After talking to the head sushi chef at the sushi bar for a few minutes we realized we should get the chef select sushi boat. Wow! I have lived in Okinawa Japan, and let me tell you this was amazing. The cuts of fish, presentation, and overall selection was... More
We had Aka Ebi, Toro, Uni and a couple of rolls plus the eggplant appetizer and everything was first rate. The service was warm and attentive. As good as I remember, highly recommend this place.
I have been to a lot of sushi spots and this is one of the best I've been to. We got there right at 5:30 when they opened and there was already a line of 20 people. We were seated quickly in an authentic Japanese seated dining area. Menu was extensive. Our server, Damien explained our options and got a... More
This is simply the class of all the places in the triangle to have sushi, or great traditional japanese food as well. Masa's place is a gift to anyone looking for truly fresh fish. All you have to notice is the nationality of those who eat here to realize that people who grew up eating sushi flock to Waraji!
I have been here many times. It's two hours+ from my home, but if I am in the area, I find a way to eat here. I always sit at the bar and only eat sushi/sashimi. The fish is always fresh, high quality and beautifully presented. I'll be back!
We enjoyed sushi, sea weed salad, edamame, miso soup, tempura & a hearty fish stew. Generous portions. Excellent preparation. Prompt and friendly service. This is very close to what a neighborhood restaurant in Tokyo is like. Full of family noise and young people. Try it!
