Not great, not terrible. On a keto diet I ordered a salad bowl rather than an arepa with the same choice of ingredients available. My protein choice of "avocado chicken" delivered an unappealing looking glop piled onto my salad fixings (which were fresh an crunchy)....The taste was fine, but I also made a bad choice of the cilantro cream dressing......it had a distinctive bitter soapy taste, even for a cilantro lover like myself. Thankfully it was on the side so I avoided ruining the entree. And at $12, I thought it was a bit pricey. Unlikely to return while on keto regimen, but the arepa certainly piques my interest.More

Surely it's just me but, the food just didn't do it for me. I know I had a couple different arepas and, since I don't recall exactly which ones I had, this isn't so much a review as a reminder to self to think twice...about returning ; )More

Amazing flavors and selection! We ordered online for pick up to take as a picnic. The options and flavors and sauces were all top-notch. What knocked it down from a five star rating are two things. First is the pick up, the sign said to...wait in your car and text for the food to be brought out. We did so and waited 15 minutes and no food so I went in and found it sitting on a shelf. Second was the order was completely not followed. The type of Arepa, the sauces (missing or Incorrect) and requests for some items to be on the side – none were followed. Of the five items ordered only one of them was correct. Because the food was so good, we will be back but would never order online rather in person and directly instruct each itemMore

Pretty Good bowls. I would recommend getting a bowl and eating it outside. Their meat is very yummy and their rice is amazing.

The arepas are amazing...excellent taste, super fresh. I came from Puerto Rico and this is my third time at this place and for sure I will return again to try the bowl...recommended 100%.

Excellent lunch spot. Great prices and quick service. Must try! We all three had different things. Steak, salmon and the pork all three are a must try.

Since we were here while the COVID-19 was going on, we were extremely satisfied with our meal. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcome. The food options are vast, and kind of reminded me of a Chipotle, but the Venezuelan...version. We opted to go with the pork and chicken arepas which were delicious! The spicy orange sauce definitely added another flavor to the already tasty wrap. This is so far our favorite meal on our road trip from Florida to Canada. The food was outstanding, the service was great, and everything perfectly priced!More

This was my first visit to Guasaca. Although the menu has a lot of options to navigate for the first time, the staff made it easy to order. We tried two arepas (chicken and tilapia) and a super bowl with salmon. Everything tasted fresh, seasoned...but not too much. No heavy oil or grease. Good portions and value for the money. Loved the guasaca and chips. I had the opportunity to chat with the owner - very nice and happy to talk about the restaurant and how they operate. I'll be back.More

Ordered the grilled steak salad. Generous, well cooked steak tips, crispy romaine, feta, grilled onions, plantains (sweet and ripe), black beans, and their Guasaca (a tasty guacamole) with a mild green sauce. Great portions, very flavorful, friendly staff, very reasonable prices. Highly recommend!!

Saturday about 5 for dinner. Not really busy. Similar to Quoba and Chilpotle. But more Central American flavors. The chicken rice bowl was very good but too much to eat. Will definitely go back.

Fresh, flavorful arepas filled with your choice of rice, beans, chicken or steak. SO delicious! The arepas are made of corn and stuffed like a pita. My teenage son needed 2 but one was just perfect for me. The guasaca is similar to chunky guacamole...and I recommend ordering some extra on the side and try their spicy sauces too! Clean restaurant and quick service.More

We went to Guasaca after visiting the NC Museum of Art. Guasaca is just around the corner from the museum. I had the fish arepas and it was delicious and reasonable.
