Good ambiance and good service but food was just ok and a little bland actually. Not only that but for a tapas place I expected a few more plate choices. I travel all over the world and have experienced numerous tapas places, and this wasn’t...memorable. The service and politeness was great though.More

I am not sure how it is possible not to give this amazing little restaurant anything less than 5 stars. Everything we shared was exquisite and the service was exceptional. Our waitress took pains to explain the dishes, suggest the number to order and point...out some we might want to consider. I considered this: while my dining companion and I couldn't eat the whole menu, I could go back and have another go at it. Among the standout items we had: avocado halves stuffed with quinoa, seared scallops, and goat cheese stuffed peppers. This menu is extremely vegetarian, vegan and gluten free friendly. Their daily specials include good wines and interesting small plates. If I had a complaint / quibble it is this: I think calling it tapas is a little misleading since it lacked many of the traditional elements you would find on a menu but as tapas restaurants are evolving, the definition of what constitutes a tapa menu is changing as well. Well done !More

Came by looking for a traditional Spanish tapa experience and this restaurant is good but not this. The wine selection is excellent with a large variety of options. Food is more of an Argentina origin with attempts of Spanish food like their Paella that boasts...Chorizo which would be considered sacrilegious in Spain. However, the food and service is good and a good option if you want good ambiance, a good wine selection and good food.More

This by far is my favorite wine bar in Raleigh. It never disappoints from small plates to wine selections. My friends had suggested it and I was like sure I love this place. The staff is excellent and always on point. They have the right...mood for a group, a date or even solo. I have been to wine bars in Houston, Miami, Washington, D.C. and other places. This is definitely in my top 5. It is worth taking guest from out of town or even a private event.More

We were looking for a comfortable and quiet place to have a glass of wine before dinner and decided to give this wine bar a try. Unfortunately the most comfortable seats in the house which we intended to sit in were taken. We picked a...quiet table in the corner instead, they do have many different seating options to choose from. They have a very nice selection of wine, both by the glass and bottle, based on the price of a glass if you intend to drink more than a few I would recommend purchasing a bottle. The menu provides an impressive selection of small plates to enjoy with your wine, I was pleasantly surprised to see they also have a good selection of wine flights and if your a beer drinker they also have something for you. Being an extremely picky beer drinker I even found one on the menu I would dive into, which is quite rare. The ambience is comfortable and relaxing, the music was quite good and it was very easy to have a conversation without having to compete with an excessively loud group of people or ridiculously amplified music. If your looking for a classy, comfortable and quiet place to relax with a drink and potentially some food to go with, give this place a try. Cheer!More

We were looking for a place to chill and have some good wine and found it here, for the most part. We started with bottle of Catena, then had another, then ordered another but... they were out! When you're having a good chard then have...to go backwards, it can mess up a good drinking run in a hurry. We also tried different snacks. Meat and Cheese board, avocado quinda, meatballs. All were tasty. We didn't ask for extra bread but were charged for it. It wasn't a lot which raised the question, why charge $1.50 for extra bread in the first place. The bread was for the meat and cheese board and at $28, I would think you'd make sure enough bread was put on the board. Most likely would go back but running out of a menu wine will make us give thought to that.More

If you are looking for a place to have an excellent glass of wine, catch up with your friends or have a nice dinner with your significant other, Vinos would be an excellent choice. I don't know what they do to their grilled salmon but...it is absolutely delicious!! My friend ordered the Peruvian style lamb stew and it was scrumptious.More
