We accidentally happened on this place for date night. We had a lovely evening and the food , service and atmosphere was amazing. The chicken cordon blue crepe was delicious and easily large enough to split. The roasted Brussel sprouts appetizer is a must get! Thanks simply crepes... we will be coming back again to try the rugby crepe

Loved this little Lafayette Village area, and loved the crepes.
We had the chicken tarragon crepes and the sausage stacker, which we rated very highly, but the absolute perfect food was the lemon chiffon dessert crepe. Oh my goodness! I moaned through the whole thing. Our waiter was very efficient and friendly and even went to the kitchen to find out a list of ingredients for me!
Whenever I visit Raleigh, this will be a must-stop location!

I have been here twice and quite enjoy the offering. I would give it 5 stars but I was a bit disappointed with my CordonBlue crepe I received the last time I was here, as the chicken inside was chard black (NOT char grilled) and it very much took away from the otherwise wonderful flavor.
I mentioned it to the waitress so hopefully they will ensure they makes sure not to over cook the chicken.

OVERPRICED/BAD QUALITY:
I spent $20+ for 2 crepes with fresh fruit (it was supposed to be 3 crepes but they only gave me 2.)
The food was cold. The crepes were tasteless. The description is misleading and does not articulate what they serve because the food doesn't live up to the description.
Never going here again. Look elsewhere if you want good food.

I had really high hopes for my visit today but it started off bad and only got worse. When we were about to be seated, they gave our table to someone who was already seated that wanted a different table, and then tried to seat us at their old table (which we heard them say was u comfortable due to being next to the door) which was really rude and was a bad start. When we ordered, the server asked if I wanted to have both strawberries and bananas in my crepe but didn’t tell me it would be a $2 upcharge. When the crepe arrived, it looked nice but it was sopping wet and the texture was slimy and unappetizing. The chicken in my sister’s crepe was rubbery and gristly and inedible. We left still hungry after paying almost $50 for brunch. The only highlights of the visit were the shakerato and the crispy red potatoes which is still pretty disappointing.

My daughter ordered the apple cinnamon crepes without cream or ice cream, unfortunately they brought out the crepe with cream and ice cream and we found out that was the last apple crepe they had. So sadly she had to pick something else. Strawberry crepe without cream and added Nutella. You would have thought that her replacement crepe would be top of the list to get made. Nope, by the time her crepe was out I was finished eating mine and had been sitting waiting.
I ordered strawberry crepe and 2 eggs scrambled with cheese both were very good. They have both indoor and outdoor dining with umbrellas for shade overlooking the courtyard.
When the check came there was an up charge for adding the Nutella to the replacement crepe. I asked for it to be removed since the cream and whipped cream were removed and she didn’t get the crepe she originally ordered. The server tried to tell me that my daughter didn’t order the first crepe without the cream. I heard her very clearly ask him twice to have it without cream or whipped cream. Eventually he removed the entire charge for the crepe. Ridiculous when all I asked for was to have $3 removed, not the entire crepe charge.

The food is ready mediocre, the staff is unfriendly, and you are charged ridiculous prices for simple items. The tiny bowl of syrup which was requested for an order of French Toast (it came with none) cost $2.50. Obscene. Would never come here again and recommend dining elsewhere.

Our brunch experience today was very noisy, dishes clanking, very crowded and the food was disappointing. I had a berry gulee. It was soggy, gooey and I think they forgot the berries. There was a sauce covering the crepe my husband had a breakfast crepe with maple bits of sausage. He also felt the crepes were soggy - and undercooked. These were not the crepes I enjoyed while I was in France. We felt our brunch was overpriced for the quality of the food. I don't suggest going on a Sunday at 11. It was good for business but I'm not sure how many customers will make a return visit. I am one of them that will not return.

Neat and cozy ambiance. I was hungry. I started with the oatmeal creme brûlée, with its oats and fruit. Then on to the chicken tarragon crepe, with chicken, mushrooms, broccoli. Both dishes were oh so good. Plenty of food. My waitress was cheerful and efficient.

My husband and I have eaten at Simply Crepes a number of times. We really enjoy the food and the service is good too. The music was too loud and it could have been more soothing. We went for brunch and it was pop music.

My wife and I came here for dinner. We have been many times and have always had great experiences here. The food is excellent! Highly recommend the Brussel sprouts. The rugby is a solid option for entree. Cute atmosphere. VERY Covid friendly. Everyone is wearing masks! We will always love simply crepes!

First time here, went with a friend. The food was very good. I had hot chocolate and I think it was a little over priced. I would not have it again. It was good but a small cup for a large price. We decided to do one entre and one sweet, desert type. We split them both. I highly recommend this restaurant for something you don't have every day.

Stopped in for a cappuccino and Strawberries and cream crepe. Fantastic. My only thoughtis next time i will ask them to watmn mu crepe a little. Service was excellent. I will be back.
