I discovered Peruvian food later in life...but I love it. Bonus, one of my wife's closest friend grew up there, so we now have Peruvian night at our homes. So I have become particular about Peruvian flavors (such as the pepper), and this place is...great. What is lacks in fancy, it makes up in great flavor at a reasonable price. Cashiers are fluent in Spanish and English too. I recommend!More

We wanted to eat at Mami Nora's today as we love the chicken. We walked in to find the place almost deserted. We were looking at the menu at the counter when my eyes fell on the sanitation grade. It was 86.5. That was it...for us. We left feeling so disappointed and will never return.More

The food is reasonably priced but average taste at best. The place is definitely in need of some maintenance and a good cleaning.

I got beans with rice and chicken and french fries. I chicken was so juicy and the rice and beans were so good! I could eat here almost everyday. I would highly recommend this place.

Did not notice until after we had eaten that Mami Nora’s in Raleigh on Wake Forest Road has a B rating. Hope we do not get sick. We will not go back due to low sanitation rating. However, the food did taste okay.

A long staple of Raleigh, we just discovered Mami Nora's chicken, and we'll be back. We went for the Taco Tuesday special, and it did not disappoint. Three very stuffed tacos, with a minced chicken that tasted delicious. The taco is filled with cilantro, salsa,...and other ingredients that make it one of the best you'll find in the Raleigh area. Always busy, this is a great spot for lunch or dinner!More

This was the second time trying to eat here with problems when ordering. This time they wouldn’t honor coupons they put out! Outside of the tostonas the food is nothing special and pair that with the terrible service I won’t suggest anyone go here.

This place is a great informal venue for the quick enjoyment of Peruvian food. The food is delicious (rotisserie chicken), service is quick, prices are good and you'll enjoy a generous quantity of food. You will not leave hungry!

My friend and I were looking for Peruvian food in Raleigh after being on the road all day. It was cold and rainy out, but we were too tired to cook. So we went on Yelp and looked for a place.. and this one popped...up, so we started our little adventure. This place isn't where you'd go for fine dining, but the food is basic good latin and authentic. Try both kinds of plantains. Eat a lot of chicken, skip the slaw if like me, you don't like onions in a creamy slaw. They didn't have wine, but the Stella I had hit the spot. Wear a sweater because it was cold inside.More

Sometimes the chicken is good and sometimes it’s dry and hard. They don’t seem to check or care what they serve you. Tired of their crappy attitude to customers.

Yes they do. Rice and beans, yuca and green or ripe plantains are all naturally gluten free. I can't remember if the yuca fries are dusted in flour before baking as I don't order them often, but the green and ripe plantains... More
