Started with an appetizer of shrimp which was good. My wife had grilled lamb chunks and stated it was one of the best lamb meals she' eaten. I had a crock of vegies and lamb and was tender and tasty. This location is casual and comfortable. Service was good. We were there at 6:00 on a Saturday.

This is a terrific place in the part of town near the fresh fruit market. The decoration will illuminate anyone on Turkey. The host is more than eager to make a visit spectacular. Music livens up the scene on Thursday evenings and will not disappoint. Also, this restaurant is one of the few that opens on Sunday evening. There are... More

I started with a house cabernet which was excellant, and for $7 a fair deal. Someone bought a Troy Mezza appetizer plate for the table and that could have been an entree. Everything on it was delicious, best grape leaves ever, and warm soft pita bread! I had the lamb shish-ka-bob, a little expensive at $17.95 but very good. The... More

If you want to experience Raleigh's best find for Mediterranean/Turkish Cuisine look no further than City Market's Troy Mezze Lounge. We had the Lamb Kabob and Chicken Kabob-both excellent. Go On-Line for the full menu. Got great reviews for other dishes from people at the next tables. If the food was not enough...Thursday nights have Raleigh's hottest Jazz Band. We... More

We live about 40 miles from Raleigh. Tonight we drove in to celebrate New Years Eve. We had walked by this small restaurant several times and decided to try it. We had traveled to Turkey years earlier and loved the food there; my wife's grandmother was from Turkey so she knows what the real deal tastes like. We had tried... More

We chose this restaurant because of a coupon in our book. We tried a clay bowl dish and the Alexander Gyro. Both dishes were full of flavor and my husband and I enjoyed sharing. I combined them the next day for lunch and it was quite tasty. I thought the prices were reasonable. My husband had a turkish coffee in... More

This is perhaps my favorite restaurant to go to in downtown Raleigh. We live nearby and often bring our dog and sit outside. There's never much of a crowd during the week and we've often been the only people there. Sitting outside on the side of the quiet, cobblestone street feels often feels foreign, especially since there is sometimes an... More

While visiting family in Raleigh, we decided to get coffee. We passed by Moore Square and saw that Troy Mezze was open. We went in and the restaurant itself was not well maintain it could use a fresh coat of paint. The server was really attentive and cater to us pretty well, of course we were the only people in... Sent our entrées back after one bite. Literally could not stomach the food that was served to us. Room temperature, salty, poor quality and inauthentic food. Everything tasted awful. We ordered the "prawn" appetizer and I should have known better because the place was dead. Out of the kitchen comes 5 cocktail shrimp; 2 hot and 3 COLD. I can't... More

I had the 4th of July off so I decided to go out since I had Friday off. We saw that Troy Mezze had Turkish food and we thought yea let's try this. The restaurant definitely had that cool space vibe that most of the Fayetteville street area has. It is definitely a nice space to eat. The décor supported... More
