We were going to an event close by and decided to have dinner at David’s. It just opened so it wasn’t crowded - staff were very pleasant and helped advise on the menu. The hot and soup we ordered, though different from the version we...were used to - was delicious, with neat chips to accompany. My husband ordered shrimp and scallops and I ordered garlic chicken - both very tasty. In all a pleasant place for an Asian meal.More
Large menu with a variety of Asian dishes. I had the filet mignon tips in sauce with green salad and seaweed salad. The steak was delicious and tender. Too much arugula in the green salad, I don't like arugula. The seaweed salad was very good....Unlike many places the portions were a good size, not too much food. I tasted my companion's curry chicken and it was good. I had the poached pear with ginger ice cream, it was an interesting combination, I enjoyed it.More
This restaurant was walking distance from my hotel so I ate there several times (I didn't have a car). Food was clean, delicious, staff friendly and attentive. Loved the papaya salad, the Pad Thai was also great. Definitely recommend it!
What a rare find! Asian Fusion at it's best. The must have is the half fried dumplings.
We had the General's Chicken and Pad Thai. The serving sizes where enough for two and such a delight to the tastebuds.
The hot and sour soup was...a clear base and had veggies too.
The atmosphere is a historic brick building with expansive windows and a stately bar in the middle.
Our server was Reba, and she was excellent.More
We had dinner here while visiting our son at NC State. Its an easy walk from campus and a very comfortable, clean atmosphere. Service was good and the food came quickly, very hot and delicious. Firstly, the original dumplings are fantastic, possibly the best we've...ever had. We shared an order as an appetizer between 3 people and I only regret not getting 2 orders! They are so good. Our pad thai and kung pao chicken were also excellent. The vegetables were all very fresh, brightly colored and healthy, not overcooked at all as in some asian food places. Prices were reasonable and portions were generous. We will come back next visit for sure! Sooo good!More
