We had a good experience. It was not busy but it also looked like they did not hav a lot of serves. The service was good. Our server was friendly and very attentive. I enjoy led the bison burger/ delicious, juicy and a great portion....One thing I miss is the house chips- they need to bring them back. I would definitely recommend coming here and will be back for another bison burger.More

Me and my friend loved this restaurant! Went just after 12 pm on a Saturday and it wasn’t super busy, although while we were eating it started to pick up. The fries are so good, we both got a burger and loved it. The pink...lemonade was super good as well. Nice restaurantMore

It was a Friday evening and we were looking for something new. So after some searching for something simple this place sounded good to us. It does offer indoor and outdoor seating which is about the only plus I can give this place. When we...got there, we were seated right by the servers station. Thinking this would be great we will get great attention here. Well we sat and sat and sat for about 15 mins until finally someone came and asked for our drinks. Then we waited another 15 mins for our drinks. At this point I was feeling pretty blah about choosing this place and was thinking of leaving. It wasnt busy at all. Looking around the place, it looked like it could use an overhaul. Paint chipping, floors dirty, tables sticky after being wiped down. Thankfully I didnt have to use the rest room at all as I can only imagine what they were like. So our food arrived and it just looked awful, like someone just threw it together real quick in the kitchen. We had 3 different people visit us at the table and not sure which one was our server. The place just had an old drab vibe to it which was surprising as Lafayette Village is a neat place. WE wont be going back there thats for sure.More

Stopped by for a dinner on a pretty miserably rainy day. It was actually pretty crowded and there was a wait when we left. Waited several minutes for someone to come over for drinks but the hostess was also our server so they were obviously...short staffed, which most places are. However that didn’t stop one employee from chatting it up with his friends. The waitress was super nice and kind all things considered. The reason for the low rating is the food. It was pretty subpar. Greasy flavorless fries on both our plates. My burger had no seasoning on it and was not asked how I wanted it cooked and was too underdone for my liking. Pulled pork sandwich had no sauce. Neither of us finished our meals: I had to cut around the parts that were too rare for me. Honestly super shocked that every booth/table was filled and there was a wait. I would honestly classify it as one (small) step above fast food. Would have been better off going to a chain bar&grill.More

Wonderful experience, great wait staff, great food The retired teachers from Brassfield Elementary could not have had a more enjoyable experience than at this restaurant. We ordered 3 meals for carryout dinner. I do not eat chicken or red meat. I ordered plank salmon, my boyfriend ordered blackened chicken and my son ordered a sandwich. We got two blackened chicken and one sandwich. We called to let them know. The...person who answered the phone said she would let the kitchen staff know. No offer of a refund or an apology. Not only did I not have a dinner we were still charged for the salmon which cost more. Additionally the blackened chicken comes served over zucchini and spinach for $16. It seems a pretty steep price for the small amount of food that was provided. Will never go back.More

We were visiting friends who live in the area and told us this was one of their new favorite restaurants. We visited on a weekend afternoon during Covid so it wouldn't be busy. It was a bit cool outside so we ate inside, however, there...were quite a few tables occupied outside. We had to wait to be seated and were pretty much ignored for about 10 minutes. We decided to go to the bar to get a drink and then the bartender sent a server/hostess to us. The special appetizer was duck wings which our friends really like, but they were out of them. The menu was interesting and the food came in a timely manner. I had the Quiche and salad. Both were terrible. The quiche was dried out and the Caesar Salad was missing the dressing! My husband liked his meatballs and spaghetti. Our friends had the salmon salad which is one of their favorites. We liked the atmosphere and think they were just having an off day, hence the average rating.More

NiWent for granddaughter's birthday. Nice private room for such occasions. Had nice fingers foods--chicken wings, meatball sliders, pulled pork tacos and pretzel bits. Food was all tasty. Service was very responsive and efficient.

We dined with 24 neighbors last evening. We were seated in the back room with the fireplace - a nice pleasant room. We all enjoyed our dinners and the waitress was efficient, pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately, we did not have the room to ourselves. Another...group was seated in the room. It was very noisy. There were several TVs in the room televising football games and combined with the number of people - the only conversation you could hear was the person immediately next to you or opposite you. I thought the room was out of the bar area and would have been a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Unfortunately, it was not.More

The food at Lafeyette Grill is better than most sports grills. The seafood is good, as are the burgers. I really like the pretzel nubs with dipping sauces, a great appretizer. The fried pickles are served very hot and are great. When the weather premits,...I recommend sitting outside.More

We had dinner here on a recent Friday night and while busy, we were seated right away in one of the back dining rooms which felt like an auxillary room and didn't have the ambiance of the main restaurant. But we were happy to be...seated right away as we were hungry and didn't have a reservation. Unfortunately our hunger would not soon be abated. Our server brought drinks fairly quickly and took our order but from there it took forever to get our food. 20-30 minutes from when we ordered. We finished our 1st round of drinks and were eager to get a second but didn't want to drink too much on an empty stomach and our food was nowhere in sight. And this situation was not unique to us as we watched fellow diners around us also waiting for their food. Chalk it up to a busy night I guess but I would have thought this place would have been better prepared. Overall our food was pretty good. I had the pulled pork sandwich which has good toppings and was good sized. The pork itself was pretty mushy. My wife had the ahi tuna sandwich which was good except for too much wasabi. Those who eat it know a little goes a long way. Overall this is a nice restaurant with good ambiance and a huge bar. I would recommend avoiding on really busy nights if possible.More

Ate here tonight, I've been coming here for a few years now, usually anniversary or Valentine's day etc. Friendly staff and great service, as always. Manager was great to talk with, restaurant was clean and has a nice atmosphere. Only issue is, we come here...because they have one or two unique dishes that are not found at many places, they have changed a little over the years but always stayed true to the spirit of the dish. This was the reason I drive 1 hr+ to eat here, but tonight they informed me that it was no longer on the menu due to poor sales or it would sell good for a while then hit a slump and so on. The food I ended up with was excellent, cooked perfect, but I can get it and most anything else on the menu at multiple restaurants less than a mile from home, So while I am satisfied with the quality of the food and the service, the main reason for coming here was missing. Will check the menu online in the future but do not see us coming back for run of the mill selection, unless the creative and distinct flavor we fell in love with returns.More
