Sitti (pronounced “se-thi”) is a Lebanese restaurant that serves great Mediterranean food! My wife and I shared the Setti tasting trays of mezza and the bacon wrapped dates stuffed with goat cheese. My old fashioned cocktail was nice.

I booked Sitti for my husband's 70th surprise birthday dinner. We had approximately 31 guests and booked the private dining area downstairs for the affair. The area was very nice and the wait staff was ok. However, the real disappointment was the meal. We were...served buffet style. I selected the pan-seared salmon, grilled chicken, and seasonal roasted vegetables. The salmon was bland, and the chicken...when I bit into it was a dry, crumbled mouthful of flavorless mush. The vegetables were overcooked and lacking flavor. The entire meal was outright disgusting. No doubt most of our guests probably stopped off on their way home for food after this meal. I contacted the events coordinator to let her know how unhappy I was about the meal and she sent the following response. "Thank you for this! We appreciate the feedback. I have already sent it over to our chefs and managers. This will be addressed within our team I'm glad you all had a great time otherwise. I heard the singers were a great touch to the night! Please let me know if we can be of any other assistance." Not once did anyone apologize for the sorry meal or offer any form of compensation. I at least expected the manager to apologize at a minimum. Be assured that this will be our last visit to Sitti.More
Arrived just after 4pm so pretty empty but service slow. Waiter said he'd be bringing pita bread but nothing arrived for ages. Think he'd actually forgotten us as other tables were being served. When pita finally arrived it was good - enjoyed with hummus. Selected...chicken & artichoke dishes for main course which were tasty but also ordered side of 'roasted seasonal vegetables' which didn't arrive till we were halfway thru main. The veg were swimming in liquid & just looked & tasted like boiled carrots to me. Waiter said they had been 'seared in the pan' when I queried, but immediately agreed to take them off the bill. Then we had long wait for the check. Saw our waiter busy making cocktails at the bar so had to ask another server to sort that for us.More
We walked over from our hotel after looking for a Vegetarian friendly option. Great service, good food in a nice atmosphere.
We went to Sitti last night for our anniversary dinner and it was the one thing in our day that was disappointing. We love Mediterranean food because it’s always so full of flavor with herbs, spices etc. So experiencing bland food at a restaurant that...has a rating of 4.5 was unexpected. It took a while for the appetizers to come out but when they did we enjoyed most of them - the falafel, mouhamra, feta cheese dip, goat cheese salad, tonic punch were good. The fried cauliflower was just ok. Their version of baba ghanouj wasn’t my favorite but it may just be a difference in how different regions make it. The entrees we got were disappointing - the salmon had no flavor/ seasoning outside of the sauce on top of it. The kale tasted like it was blanched and absolutely nothing else added, not even salt. It definitely didn’t have garlic like my waitress said. I ordered the eggplant kabob and it wasn’t until a few mins after my dish was brought out without the main item that I was informed that they ran out of eggplant. The mujaddara rice seemed over cooked. It may have been an off night for them but we won’t be back. There are several other Mediterranean restaurants in the triangle that haven’t disappointed.More
The restaurant is not large and it was.busy with various ages of patrons when we arrived. It was noisy with laughter and conversation. I selected the Curry with Lamb. The Vegetable Curry was excellent but my lamb chunks were not as tender as I had...expected. The Service was attentive and fast. We probably would return and order something else. There were several other items on their menu that sounded appealing including a Sampler Plate.More
Before I even mention the food, sitting outside is so beautiful and really takes you away from downtown Raleigh. Gorgeous courtyard that's shaded in the late summer, absolutely perfect! Service was fine, food was great. Seriously the best pita I've ever eaten. Lots of menu...options for those with food allergies/sensitivities, and well labeled for these as well. Very fresh flavors and the best Mediterranean place in Raleigh!More
Excellent, flavorful food. I got takeout; service to the extent I experienced it was prompt and responsive. Solid veg options. Maybe slightly more olive oil than I would have used in the meze. Generous quantities.
Dined with a fairly large party and was very impressed by the welcome, service, menu and the food itself. Had the Sitti Tasting which was incredible.
We tried Sitti for the first time, and would absolutely give it another shot. We had the cheese rolls as an appetizer. There were four of them and they were delicious. I then had the vegan samkeh harra for my meal, and it was great....The service was fantastic! There were lots of other menu items that looked delicious, and we can’t wait to go back and give it another try!More
We took a new friend to Sitti and my wife and I were very disappointed. Our welcome was good, table was ready (early Saturday night). We had the three appetizers to dip - good. My wife had the curry - average, I had the Salmon...- below average, our friend had the Red Snapper - good. When we got our entrees, the noise was unbelievably high - very bad. We couldn’t have a conversation at the table. I remember the noise level being bad before, but not that bad. The management doesn’t seem to understand that the noise affects the dining experience. They did tell us that we picked a bad night to dine, or we could have gone downstairs-who knew? We are very familiar with Lebanese baklava, having dined dozens of times at Neomonde Raleigh, Sassool Cary, and Neomonde Morrisville. What we had tonight was not Lebanese baklava. It was heavy and ultra sweet. My wife told the manager that we would need a serrated knife to cut through the bottom layer. No one is minding the store in the kitchen. We felt that the staffing was short, they were hurrying, and things took a long time to arrive. We spoke to the manager who was nice and professional, and told us that she appreciated the feedback. All in all, this was not an enjoyable time. This will be our last visit. This in not the Number #4 restaurant in Raleigh! Fans of Lebanese Food!More
Artfully prepared middle easter cuisine. Fresh farm to table ingredients that should not be missed. I have been here many times and it’s always outstanding.
Very diverse and tasty menu. We had the house tasty plate. Excellent sampling. Pita bread right out of oven. Will return!
This was our first time at Sitti. We went on recommendation from trip advisor ratings. What a wonderful experience. The restaurant is convenient to downtown Raleigh. It is spacious and inviting. The staff are super friendly and attentive. Our server Lesley was awesome! We started...with the hummus and those amazing handmade pitas. My husband and I both ordered the lamb Shawarma wrap with side salad. So good! Definitely a must try when in the area!More
Excellent food and service on a holiday weekend. The restaurant filled quickly, and deserves its top-ten in Raleigh rating.
