I am a BBQ enthusiast and enjoy trying the offerings anywhere I travel. Having said that I also am well aware of the comparisons between Texas and North Carolina BBQ so I decided to decide for myself. I must say I wasn’t disappointed at all....More

We have been to The Pit several times. The food is good. But the ribs are not comparable to some other places in the triangle. Service was good and the sides were especially good.

stopped in for lunch with 2 business associates. Very fast and efficient service. Waitress made some suggestions which we tried. Their eastern style BBQ was very flavor able.

If you want real BBQ find a cinder block building with a gravel parking lot. The appetizer sampler was good. The deviled eggs and pimento cheese balls were excellent. The collard and pork egg roll is edgy and interesting. BBQ chicken is a tough test...More

The Pit BBQ is so much better than the bbq in my head. The chicken was so much better than I gave it credit for. The chicken was outstanding.

BBQ at it’s best. Clean, bright atmosphere. Valet parking. Reservations accepted. Usually I tend to like the barbecue but dislike the way the sides are made. The Pit kitchen has done it right for me. We will be back and soon!
