I called and ordered pizzas today, March 11 at 11:59 AM. I paid by card and my payment was confirmed on the phone. The pizzas were delivered, and I signed the receipt. at 8 PM, I received a phone call from an unknown number, and...they said I did not pay for the pizzas, and that the delivery driver was being charged for my pizzas. She said her name was Abigail. I told her she was calling from an unknown number and that I was not giving her a credit card on the phone and that I would come to Pizza hut at 62 Pisgah Highway, Pisgah Forest, NC 28768. I arrived and asked for the manager, and a lady named charity, came out and told me I needed to pay for my pizzas in a very loud voice. I explained that I had already paid and I had checked my card and the charge was showing cal. she said that the charge was voided by the call center and I had not paid. She said that the charge showing on my card would be returned within 48 hours. I told her I would give a debit card, but that I did not think this was correct. She said she was not taking my debit card that I had to give her cash $78.40. I told her I didn’t have that much cash on me and she yelled. She was calling the law and having me arrested. I had to drive to the ATM and get cash. I told her when I got back that I was not giving it to her until I had a receipt showing paid in full and she refused. We were at a stand off, and she finally scribbled paid in full on my original receipt where I paid by card. I gave her the cash and now I have paid $78.40 twice and been threatened with arrest.More
