Our Retired Couples Club had dinner at the Hob Nob on Main Street in Brevard before going to the concert at Brevard. It had good food and friendly service. However, if sitting outside, be aware of where the sun shines... Our group goes there every year.

This restaurant was a lunch favorite of mine for many years but after closing for a good while and reopening last year, I'd gotten out of the habit of going. I ordered their fabulous tomato basil soup which did not disappoint although they don't serve it with bread anymore. Their menu is smaller, which is fine, but I didn't see... More

It was nice to find somewhere to eat without having to go to town but I think they were a little overwhelmed. The food was good - I had a very tasty pulled pork sandwich - but expensive. We were glad we didn't have to drive to town and park to find something to eat though - so no complaints.... More

The menu is very limited, hot dogs, salads, hamburger; but I was not expecting there to be any food available at all on the park, so it was a very pleasant surprise to find any food options and not to have to go back out of the forest. I had a curry chicken salad and my son had a hot... More

Passing Through Saw Signs For Lunch. We are glad we did. Had a tasty salad. Although over ;riced it was convenient and we will more than likely return. We will surely try Hob Nob on Main St. in Brevard. We found the stop a very pleasant experience.

This is the Hob Nob in Pigsah National Forest at the "Cradle of Forestry" center half way up the mountain road. If you tell the gate that you are eating at the cafe you can avoid the $5 parking fee. Since it was time for lunch after doing Looking Glass Falls and Moore Cove and we needed a bathroom it... More

Our family visited the cradle of forestry last Wednesday, and looked forward to a lunch at Hob nob at the cradle based on the good reviews posted here. I thought I had looked at the menu and it looked delicious and had a great option for our gluten free 8 year old. When we arrived I was disappointed to see... More

What a wonderful surprise!! Lunch today was a gourmet delight. I had the Fried green tomato BLT, my husband had a special shrimp pasta salad. We watched our lunches individually prepared. Having had a great hike on the BRP we were hungry and realizing we'd have an hour and a half wait at the Pisgah Inn we decided to drive... More
