When I travel I try hard to eat at places that are off the beaten path and very much not chain places. This checks both those boxes.
Fancy it is not, but home style it is. Cooked fresh and hot and served by friendly folks who kept my tea glass full. The menu is typical diner fare. We all had something different and all our plates were clean. Very reasonable prices and definitely where the locals eat. Super service.

Friendly service, food made fresh and served quick. Comfortable, clean and friendly for all ages. Food was outstanding, you won't leave hungry and for a great price too!

Was suggested by my husband's coworker. Everything was good but nothing spectacular. It seems like a place for lunch if you are in a hurry and work in an industrial park. Which is where it is located. We went on the hopes of the recommendation. But all in all it got the job done. Quick lunch while just passing thru Charlotte.

This diner has a friendly hometown feel. The food was well seasoned. I had the most delicious fries I've ever tasted and fish sandwich. My mom was with, she doesn't eat fries often but she could not stop eating my fries. They were crunchy on the outside and fluffy inside. She said she would go back, if only for the fries. They were that good. The fish was well seasoned and also. We will go back and try something else on the menu.

I can remember my grandmother taking me here when I was just a child, over 30 years ago. This is you basic home cooked country breakfast food. Cup of coffee, eggs, bacon, liver mush with a side of grits. This last time we visited though, it just didn't seem as good as it has been in years past. Several of our biscuits and toast were burned, but the bacon was crispy and delicious.
