Socially distanced tables. Staff Masked and sanitized. Had the samosa with coriander and red sauces. Then chicken tikka masala(yum); aloo gobi(perfect spice), raita( thick and creamy) and warm fresh naan(perfect crumb and chew). Worth the drive !

My girlfriend and I met for some tasty Indian food and we were not disappointed. We had a wonderful meal, and we're happy to see so many families also having a great time too. This was our second visit and we will return again. It's...a family owned restaurant and the hospitality is noticed immediately when you walk in and ask for entree recommendations.More

You order at the counter and staff brings out the food. Was very impressed with the seasoning and depth of flavors. My lamb vindaloo was as ordered - hot and spicy. The chicken tandoori was a very generous portion and well seasoned. The manager/owner came...over and asked about our food. When we advised him the roti was undercooked, he brought out another one without fuss. He appeared genuinely concerned that we enjoy his food. The samosa was OK. Extra rice was brought out without delay. Will return.More

I drive from Asheville for their food! Raj, the owner, is a delightful gentleman. Their menu is quite extensive and everything I’ve had is wonderful. I am Vegan thus can’t soeak to the meat items, however my dining companions rave about them as well. I’m...a big fan of their samosas and yellow Dahl. So flavorful. The potatoes and cauliflower is also one of my favorites. My friends love the Biryani items , Bhelpuri, Panipuri, AlooGobi, Chile Chicken.More

We went there in the evening to enjoy Indian snacks. So ordered Samosas chat, Aloo tikki chat, Sev Puri, Dahi Batata Puri, pani puri and bhel puri. All were good in taste but of course not in comparison to the Indian taste.

Ordered lunch yesterday and my food was overpriced and the quality was really low. The food used to be good when they opened but during my last 4-5 visits the quality has gone really low. Rice was uncooked and so was the naan. Coming from...India I know what Indian food is and this is no where close. Very bad experience not going back.More

Thanks to GPS I was able to find the place. It is located in a strip mall next to a closed for business supermarket. I was surprised by the long line of locals ordering for takeout and dine in. Most of the tables were full...and the ambience was that of a small family-run restaurant. I ordered the lamb RoganJosh with red sauce and a side dish of naans with spicy chiles. I wanted the spicy hot lamb, but was suggested that I go with the medium. I like spicy food, specially, Indian so I should have go with that but I appreciated the suggestion. The dish was very flavorful and authentic. I definitely recommend this restaurant.More

Went there for lunch with a group of friends. Had the standard thali. It was good, but they offer the same items in the thali everyday. The kheer was amazing. Tried the samosa Chaat and Gobi Manchurian as well. Ordered the biriyani another time, and...it was decent as well.More

Loved the concept (although it took me a minute to grasp it) cam here for lunch and it was excellent. Its great food in a basic environment - tasty, delicious selection with a broad range and plenty of real stuff- love the Naan. Wish there...was somewhere like this nearer to me. If back in CLT would definitely come back for more. Order at counter - food is brought you - ans the smile does make the difference. To be noted- if there are plenty of Indians eating there it must be a decent Indian restaurant....More

For all those ignorant Americans who need a lesson in true Indian cuisine, this is the place to go. It has chaat and other Indian street food and home style parathas and many other authentic Indian dishes that you will not find in the ubiquitous...pseudo Indian restaurants that dot the landscape of the USA.More

My son and I popped in on a Saturday shopping expedition. We were looking for quick and easy and we like Indian food so we thought we would give it a try and are glad we did. They advertise as "casual dining" meaning some is...self serve. We ordered at the counter then gathered water, utensils and plates at a separate station and sat down with our number to wait on our food. It took less than 10 minutes and did not disappoint. I had the Chicken Tikka Masala which was very tasty, although, I prefer the sauce to be a little thicker. My son had the Chicken Korma which was spot on! We also shared a garlic naan which was so good we wished we had ordered two! Prices were consistent with other nearby Indian restaurants. We have a number of favorites but we will definitely be adding this to the list and visiting again.More

Place is much much better than majority of the indian restaurants in US. Chats are great. Some dishes are awesome but some are just average or below average. Curries (if made spicy are great). you have to place order at the counter and they deliver...at table. you have to drop the plates after you eat as well.More
