This is a great spot and so Pinehurst authentic! Very nice pub menu, I had a great burger and fries, wifey had Mahi taco. Nice wine by the glass and very tasty Guinness (which seemed to fit). This place is really busy, but food &...drink service at the bar was nice. As a bonus very friendly bar clients...seems to fit with golftown USA...great folk! This was our 2nd trip there and will definitely go back. Also, they have ALOT of outside seating, which is a huge bonus for us, but on this occasion, we ate at the bar (due to A/C)!!More

My wife and I have tried this place three separate times since its opening and were disappointed each time. After reading positive reviews, and living in Pinehurst,, we decided give it a fourth try last night. We placed a drink order upon arrival and both...received drinks not remotely close to what we ordered. After getting that straightened out, we placed our entree order. I was hungry for fish and chips and noticed it was the most positive reviewed item online. Our entree came out incredibly fast to be prepared properly and my fish were very mealy inside. They were supposed to come with fries, which I expected, but came out with a few potato chips that the fish sat atop. The chips were soggy as a result. In all fairness, my wife enjoyed her shrimp tacos biut my meal was very disappointing. My wife, being a big bread pudding fa, ordered their bread pudding to go. Upon eating later that night she was so disappointed with a lack of flavor and sauce, she tried to doctor it to make it consumable. Shortly after, she threw it all in the garbage. That is it for this place - four strikes and you are surely out. If you are a tourist to Pinehurst, I advise you to look elsewhere for a decent meal.More

Terrible place. Would not recommend even to my enemy. I have had dinner there twice and the management was ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. This place needs a new owner and their employees deserve better. Would have given half star but it wouldn’t let me.

Had the shareable Buffalo chicken and shrimp and fish sandwich special. Both were HUGE portions and very good! The outside seating on a beautiful fall day was a plus. Kapri was our server and she couldn’t have been better!

We enjoyed touring Southern Pines and Pinehurst today. Both towns are great. We enjoyed drinks and an appetizer at Drum and Quill before heading home. Drum and Quill was a great spot to sit outside on a beautiful fall afternoon. Lisa made our visit even...better. She was so kind and made my husband 2 great Old Fashioned cocktails. We will go back again soon.More

We visited Pinehurst for some shopping and enjoying this pretty town. Our friends with us had been several times and had eaten at the Drum & Quill Public House. They recommended we have lunch there. It is much like a British pub and just a...warm atmosphere. In these days of limited servers, Kapri was very attentive and provided friendly service. The menu has a lot of options. The Korean beef tacos and Mahi tacos were delicious! A lot of great flavor. Even the iced tea was as good as this southern boy has had. We will go back!More

Stopped on for a quick refreshment before running some errands. The vibe was fun with laughing patrons and Camille behind the bar. The drink she served me was fantastic and the laughter and conversation with fellow patrons welcome, so one drink turned into two, then...three, and a burger, then another drink and an order of onion ring. What a great way to spend a Thursday afternoon! The atmosphere is the best in downtown Pinehurst/ great decor, fun staff, great location. Highly recommended! Thanks, Camille!More
