You can get pretty much anything except the kitchen sink on a biscuit in this counter-service restaurant in an old filling station. Don't expect much decor; what's here is plastic and worn. The biscuits are made on-site (I saw the cook come from the kitchen to the dining area in a flour-covered apron). The restrooms, the originals from the filling... More

The biscuits here are the real deal - big and full of homemade goodness. I prefer the bacon and egg biscuit. You get plenty of bacon and a nice fried egg which is something that the chains don't offer. You can also get a great hot dog here as well.

Lot of locals sit inside and eat their breakfast. A busy place but line goes quickly. You place your order at counter and either eat inside or get to go. Friendly staff and great food.

Delicious homemade biscuits. My favorite is the bacon, egg and cheese (aka. "Bacon Sunrise"). If you are near Oxford, do yourself a favor and stop in!

We found this place by mistake, and what a little gem. It's usually very busy, but the line moves quickly. The home made biscuits are fantastic, and the menu is extensive. The food is very fresh. There isn't a waitress service, you order and pick up at the window. There are a few booths to stay and eat, but a... More

The best biscuits "country style" in or near Oxford, NC. You can get them small or huge "regular" sized. This place is unpretentious, has a large take away crowd, limited seating, but their biscuits, pancakes, eggs, etc. are all great. And yes, they have southern faves like red hots and fatback.

I've stopped here twice now. Had a bacon biscuit both times. Yummy large biscuit. Tasted great, fluffy. If you're in town their entire breakfast looks good. Take a few minutes and get off 85 and visit this small town old time restaurant

This is a local stop for breakfast. I had the waffle with strawberries and whipped topping. Waffle light and airy. Hubby had the fat back biscuit with egg, lots of salt in this. Many different biscuits to choose from. Prices were very good. Hubby got the senior coffee just over a dollar and I got water cost $0.30. Local place... More
