I do believe they take debit cards(not positive though) but I know that cash is preferred (fine with us though). I LOVE chocolate and peanut butter ice cream almost everywhere BUT here! It was the strangest tasting chocolate I've ever had! We went back a...More

They have a great location and good selection of frozen treats on a hot day. The serving size was a bit large for a child so consider a cup not a cone!

We stopped here for some quick ice cream when many places were closed for the 4th of July parade. I tried the peaches and cream frozen yogurt. It was good, but not delicious. It's a solid place to stop when you want something cold on...More

Ice cream, slushies, and a large front porch on a hot day-what could be better? Great place to rent bikes-quick, easy process!

We visit Ocracoke for one week every year and stop at The Slushy Stand about 5-6 times per visit. It’s within walking distance of the various places we have stayed, the slushies are cheap and refreshing, and the front porch is a great place to...More

Stopped for some ice cream. Made ours into a Frappuccino. Took awhile to make it, but we really liked them. I think we came before "beach season" started cuz they didn't have many ice cream flavors to choose from. If ever in the area again,...More

Delicious ice cream, and served generously by very nice servers. Even with a grumpy customer in front of us, the man tried to be helpful.

I don't know. We travel with a dog, so bikes are not on our agenda.

Whether looking to rent a bike, cooling off with a frosty slushy or sweet treat, or requiring an espresso drink or robust cup of coffee for your afternoon pick-me-up, The Slushy Stand is the choice for you. We offer adult and kids bikes, bikes with baby seats, tagalongs, adult tandems and adult trikes. A bicycle is a great way to feel the slow pace of island life. When you are finished riding, stop in for 20 flavors of ice cream, milkshakes, sundaes, homemade waffle cones and homemade hot fudge, fresh fruit or syrup slushies, soft serve, scoop yogurt and floats. We have a full espresso menu and our regular brew is a very smooth Cuban. We are open seasonally from 7 am to 10 pm, 7 days a week.
