After a long wait for the ferry from Hatteras to Ocracoke, we were starving for a late lunch, and Eduardo's didn't disappoint. Amazing shrimp tacos and scallops tacos. Also several tables available, which was nice on a pleasant spring day.
Eduardo's offers a menu of tropical and Hispanic fusion foods that is about as good as you could get anywhere. The food is made fresh, and is inexpensive for the quality you get. Breakfast burritos are exceptional. This is always one of the most popular...eateries on Ocracoke.More
We all walked up for a very late breakfast and I tried the crab bacon burrito and was a little disappointed, tasting little crab or bacon. It was loaded with avocado and overloaded with refried beans, and it oozed out of the burrito with every...bite starting about half way down. My wife on the other hand, enjoyed her spinach, egg and cheese taco and would order it again. Our other two guests were also split between OK and very good. I did like that they had seating out front with picnic tables which we utilized. Being that they are so highly rated, I would certainly try another menu item on a return trip. They need to carry orange juice in their drink cooler.More
We were so glad to stumble upon Eduardo's Taco Stand walking around in Ocracoke. We had breakfast there - the $10 taco was a little pricy for how small it is, but everything's a little pricy in Ocracoke.
It didn't look too impressive but tasted...very good! It had eggs, steak and cheese inside. Would definitely go back!More
The locals have always told me about this place but was never able to check it out until now. The food is great. The best dish was the cheese Quesadilla. Lots of cheese. It a food truck but they do have picnic tables. They wrap...the food well for taking it to the beach or back to your place. I will be back.More
Love Eduardo’s and this year his food truck seems to have a new, more permanent location complete with cute tables with tiki umbrellas! Just look for the giant red chili pepper! In 15 minutes he’ll fix you a huge, delicious burrito for a great price!...Today I had the shrimp burrito - giant, fresh shrimp with black beans and all the fixins. Perfect for ferry rides and outdoor lunches!More
An early breakfast is hard to find on 'Croke, so i usually end up at the Pony Island for our morning meal. At the suggestion of a friend we tried Eduardo's and are forever changed!!!
We had an egg and steak and cheese burrito and...a Hot Mess burrito from their breakfast offerings. Both were huge and tasted spectacular. Hot mess is just about everything you can think of - potato, onion, chorizo, bacon, egg, avacado, salsa and habernaro sauce - in a burrito.
We travel a lot and the only thing even close to the taste and quality of this food is the TexMex food we've enjoyed in Colorado.
Only negative comment is that they dont serve coffee. I need this libation to start my day so we took a walk around the corner to the coffee shop.
Restaurant opens at 8 AM.
