Came here on the recommendation of someone else. We were not disappointed. From the moment we came in the hostess acknowledged us and seated us right away. Our waitress Allison came right Over and was attentive to everything for us. She shared the story of...the building and some of the decor. We ordered the ribs and Mahi & Shrimp. We didn’t have to wait long for the meal, actually we hadn’t even finished our salads before the main course arrived. The food was excellent. Definitely be back if we come Back this way.More

We ordered the island shrimp and the tuna lettuce wraps. Both were excellent!! The porter beer and the croissants were delicious, too. We were very happy to see all staff masked and the servers wore gloves. All in all, a terrific lunch. We'll be back...when visiting New Bern!More

I've had the haddock fish sandwich, and the not so hot chicken sandwich. Both were delicious as well as the sides (garlic mashed potatoes). Great for a date night, family, and takeout.

Food is ok, service is ok. Nothing special. Wait staff are more eager than experienced - thinking good service is to ask you if all is ok every 3 minutes. Ribeye comes in a soup bowl - swimming in au jus. A honey coated croissant...is not a good substitute for good bread.More

My wife and I stopped in to Morgan's for lunch based on the recommendation of a friend. I will definitely go there every time I go to New Bern!! Relaxed atmosphere. Good selection on the menu. Very nice selection of craft beers. We both had...the Morgan's Nut Brown Ale and I thought we had died and gone to heaven. Perfect temperature, smooth, and very good flavor... AND only $3/pint at that time of the day. The staff was attentive and helpful. You had your choice of sitting inside or in a covered outside area. We chose to sit inside because of the high temps outside, but the outside looked really nice when we walked through. The sandwiches we had were very good. They serve buttered, honey-covered croissants as starters. I don't normally eat bread like that, but I'm glad I did. Highly recommended.More

We had a group of 7 of us. Four adults 3 kids. We sat outside. Two of us had the scallop special, one had crab cakes, one had a salad another had pasta and two of the kids ordered off the kids menu. All of...the food was excellent. The service was very good. We split a few deserts, which were also very good. Will visit again, when we are in the area.More

Busy restaurant with great service. They have done an extraordinary job with their efforts on Covid. It was very apparent they cared about everyone's well being.

Super attentive service, wide range of menu choices, and everything came out as requested. Definitely following all COVID protocols (not all restaurants in New Bern are). Very enjoyable!

We're back again to Morgan's! We got there at 4:30 on a Tuesday to avoid the crowd. We were quickly seated. Staff members were wearing masks, gloves, and keeping their distance while remaining competent and friendly. Although the food seemed to take a bit of...time, the meals were impeccable. My wife had a pasta dish, and I had an Original Burger with a loaded baked potato for a side. Loading the potato does not cost extra. Zero complaints. Complimentary croissants drizzled with honey were served a little late, they said, because they were baking a fresh batch. Outstandingly delicious. Server Allison rocks! My wife and I enjoyed a nice, quiet time complimented by remarkable food. Cash, credit, or gift cards. Plenty of on-street parking. You can always count on Morgan's.More
