This regional chain used to be called Andy's. At one time they specialized in cheesesteak sandwiches, but now their burgers are the draw. They make a very good burger! Service is old-fashioned, with seating either at the counter or tables and booths. Fries and onion rings are fresh and hot when they arrive. Drinks are served with crushed ice, a... More

Excellent service. Hospitality was amazing and the greetings were LOUD. I purchased the Moose and it was perfect blended sub. Absolutely no complaints and certainly will visit again... Thanks kindly

Friendly staff, good food. Inexpensive. Takes you back in time! Family atmosphere, right on the strip.

We tried the burgers here because we had a coupon and they were actually quite good. The décor is 50's diner, very cute. All the food was tasty and it's a fun place to stop in.

the restaurant chain has great food, so 50's, but this particular store lacks in service, maybe because it's near the mall they have a lot of teenagers, I go to another one in James City for service

Expanded all around the area in the past few years. Tried and consistence food and friendly service. I ask for extra coleslaw on the Carolina burger.

I love this place. Their burgers are my favorite. The buns are soft, the burgers appear to be home made, not "cookie cutter" machine pressed, and they're delicious, as are the onion rings. I always go here first when I want a great burger in an authentic "diner" atmosphere. Wear your Bobby sox and saddle shoes!

On a recent afternoon, I decided it was time to get mom and dad out of the house for an early dinner. I had not been to Highway 55 in a while, so decided to give it a try. I will be going again soon. The handmade burger patties were delicious and mom just raved about her cheesesteak sandwich. Our... More

Stopped by Hwy 55 last week for dinner. Large selection of burgers and comfort food. One of the best burgers I have ever had. Their onion rings are perfect, not tough and beer batter. Clean and great staff. Fast service.

Burgers, shakes, fries. What more can you say. The burgers are hot, shakes are somewhat thick and fries are just that, but could surely benefit from being left in the deepfrier longer.
