Mario's is a traditional Italian restaurant serving New Jersey style pizza. Comparatively, the pizza served at Mario's is much different than the usual local chain pizza fare and will be a welcoming taste of home for any North-East visitor.

We love Mario's Pizza and order it often for Pick Up. Recently they advertised that they deliver. How exciting was that - saving us the trip! Well, it didn't turn out so well. After 2 hours and 2 phone calls for a status report, we received a cold pizza that was smaller than the one we usually pick up HOT... More

We have been customers of Mario's since it opened in New Bern and have previously rated the thin crust, crispy pizza as excellent. Called tonight (Sunday) and ordered delivery for the first time at about 6:00PM - advised it would be an an hour and twenty minutes. Called at 7:30PM and advised that it was on the way... delivery problems.... More

Located in a small shopping plaza. Had a calzone and it was very good (and VERY large) Order at the counter and they will call you when your order is ready.

I love Mario's Pizza in New Bern! They have the biggest slice of pizza for a few bucks! I prefer the slice pizza over buying an entire pizza, because the slices are thinner than the whole pizza. I like a simple slice of cheese pizza. When I feel like eating healthy I really like the grilled chicken salad with italian... More

We arrived this evening about 5:40 p, ordered our pizza, and paid $21.00. My husband even asked if he could give us a number and he said, "Oh, we'll bring it out." "Good deal", we said. We found a table and started the waiting process. It gets to be 6:20p and decided 40 minutes was more than enough time to... More

They have the best real NY pizza in the area, hands down. However, this time I tried their Italian sandwich and my wife had a cheesesteak. Both darn good. Actually, their Italian is probably the best I've ever had. The cheesesteak was on a lightly toasted bun (so advise them if you do not want it toasted) but it still... More
