I visited the Waveriders Coffee and Deli restaurant for a late dinner one night because the other restaurant I was trying to go to was slammed with people. I had visited Waveriders for lunch and breakfast before, but dinner was completely different. With live music being played, it was very hard to order food and to hear myself even think.... More

Thanks Matt for your continued visits. We are only open 1 night a week and when you likely came in around 9pm we now have a Blues Jam that occurs on Thursday nights. By 9pm they are in the final hour of the set with many different musicians coming in to jam. It is a significantly different then the quaint... More

If you like sandwiches with a twist, this is the place to be. They have Boar's Head cold cuts and service sandwiches that have been panini pressed. So tasty. They have a huge selection of coffee, lattes and teas. They have a charging station with WiFi. They are opened for breakfast, lunch and dinner. A couple nights of the week,... More

We came here because of the gluten-free options for my girlfriend. She got a gf chicken feta spinach sandwich and she really liked it. I got a reuben sandwich with cucumber salad and it was absolutely amazing. With a slight hipster vibe, this place feels laid back with the seating options and layout. The pricing was reasonable and matched the... More

We decided to have lunch here during our recent vacation based on a recommendation. My best description would be "nothing fancy just good food!" Situated in a strip retail center, Waveriders offers an excellent array of sandwiches or PLENTY of ingredients to make your own. While not being a coffee drinker myself, my wife (coffee snob) declared it some of... More

Always on the search for good coffee. Stopped here based on Tripadvisor reviews and proximity to our cottage. Coffee was good, but it was the breakfast sandwiches that impressed. In particular, I had the egg, cheese and sausage, but with a spicy sauce that really took it up a notch. Nice place to stop and catch a breakfast sandwich.

As vegans amid the fish, this place was our salvation while in Nags Head. The black bean burger was quite good, and we were grateful for the simple breakfast that we were able to piece together. The staff was friendly, and the spacious interior struck the right note of beach-y yet hip, a nice place to hang out and enjoy... More

An excellent start to the morning is the Eddie Vedder breakfast sandwich, which might have been a special, but it should be added to the menu. Some great bakery items too. Great service, excellent coffee and there is a bar inside, so I will be back to sample some beers, for sure!
