Me and my husband visits this place often specially on special occasions because of solemn ambiance and accessible location. The food is good and the service is quick.

We have eaten here SO many times. We also love to order take out. Our take out order no matter how large has never been wrong.... More

Taiko is extremely fresh and delicious sushi. Not many tables so it can take a while to get food when it is busy.

I had been hearing some wonderful things about Taiko in the last couple of years since becoming a permanate resident here and had yet to have a chance to eat here. We ate sushi twice on our vacation. This was by far the better experience. Food actually tasted like it should. Eel was good. Sushi rolls were good. Meat-and-noodles were good. Prices were high, but this is a) tourist-ville and b) A sit-down Japanese restaurant. Top marks from my wife and I.

It was as good as I remembered. We each had one of their lunch "Power Boxes" and everything was fresh and presented beautifully. And, the price was... More

We had good service and apple Fuji sake was really good. The sushi came quick and it was really good. I've had better in new York and Baltimore but if you are in obx you should go here. It is pricey but worse sushi places have similar prices.
