My popcorn shrimp dinner was out of this world! The portion was huge and quite tasty, served with a sweet creamy coleslaw, a delicious mustard potato salad, and hush puppies. Loved the friendly family atmosphere, and our lovely waitress, Dawn, was so sweet and very attentive, refilling our drinks and checking on us often. Such a pleasure to stop into... More

We love this little gem of a restaurant. The service is great. The portion sizes are large. My 11 year old daughter loved the spaghetti. She gets it lots of places and always says theirs is the best.

You'll be greeted by happy, skillful servers with southern accents. A big menu: breakfast $2-5, lunch $5, dinner $10. Service is ultrafast and the food is good. A Christian feel to the place; good if you're a Christian, not problematic if you're not.

When traveling, we always like to try out local places rather than the big chain restaurants. My husband and I stopped here on our way home from Ohio. We thought the food was very good, though the portions were pretty big. We both ordered spaghetti plates which came with a salad and Texas toast so neither of us finished. I... More

Wonderful people. Down home cookin' We did not know, when we stopped, that this restaurant was in Mayberry, home of Andy Griffith. Our chicken livers were heavily battered but good. The sides were also good. They make sure you have plenty to eat. Nice folks. Y'all come back.

We were looking for a ma and pa place to eat and saw this place decided to try it. It was very nice inside and the waitress was nice and friendly. I ordered the spaghetti and my boyfriend ordered the ham and cheese hoagie and cheese fries. The spaghetti was good and the sauce is homemade although it is a... More

Good Christian family style restaurant. Hush puppies and sweet potatoe casserole were wonderful. Corn bread a bit dry and mac n cheese was just so so.

A little off the beaten path for Downtown fans but picturesque and worth the 7 mile drive. Good home cooking at very reasonable prices. Love all day breakfast!

We stopped at the Copper Pot for breakfast while traveling south on 77. We always try to get off the highways and find local spots to eat. The breakfast was fantastic and very reasonably priced with excellent service. The atmosphere is typical North Carolina Country and a little old butt I highly recommend stopping here.

Tried this restaurant based on posted reviews while staying overnight. Ordered the hamburger steak with sweet potatoe casserole and green beans, steak had a nice sear to it flavorful, but it was a hamburger without the bun. Green beans and sweet potatoe casserole pretty run of the mill. Hubby ordered ham steak with apples and the Mac and cheese, ham... More

Southern style foods at its best, with a family atmosphere. No alcohol served.
