Had dinner on a Sunday evening. The steamed clams were fantastic. Sea scallops as one diner and a pesto shrimp with pasta was the other. Both met our expectations and more. Adult beverages were on point also. Nice location. Check this place out!
We were first seated directly in the sun, with the only table that didn’t have an umbrella. When we asked to move the waitress said we might not be able to. We moved anyways. Then we got our food which both plates were missing items...we asked for. Whatever. But then we started eating. It was gross and bland. The “blackened” chicken was light brown and the sandwich was soggy with the nasty part of the lettuce. You know bad quality when you see it.
My Alfredo sauce was broken and oily and the only thing the manager actually agreed with us on. She said the Burger King style sandwich was up to her standards. Perhaps she should be managing fast food then? They were also extremely rude as soon as we pointed out how the food wasn’t edible. We were told there’s a message on the menu that says even if the food tastes bad we have to pay for it. We paid without eating because it was that bad and the manager threatened to call the cops if we didn’t pay for the $12 sandwich. She even went as far as to tell us that the cops eat there all the time, so they would be siding with her. You know it’s not very professional to lead a conversation with assumptions and racist micro-aggressions.
On more than once occasion they implied that we were just trying to get one over on them by not paying, and they strategically only said these things while speaking to my girlfriend, who is a POC. They also told her she was getting aggressive when if anything I was speaking louder than she was. It was hard not to get frustrated with their GM who walked up like she was already upset and defensive. Saying the food was cooked all the way, so it was fine.
This is not the type of service you expect at a place like this, but if the other reviews are any indication, this is the way they operate on a daily basis.More
Nice View. Best part. Staff: friendly however I am not a big fan of nose, ear, lip piercings and tattoos. So be prepared if you feel the same. Cleanliness: table was sticky and not properly cleaned. Drink flip chart on the table was gross...had mold...and mildew on some of the pages. Food: Calamari - ok . Fried oyster basket - small tasteless oysters, marginal fries, non descript coleslaw. Value: way overpriced for the food and quality. Atmosphere: gave me the feeling of a large, greasy spoon, somewhat dirty place. Clientele: what you would expect from what I described above. This is one of those places that has a nice view of the lake but is lacking on restaurant quality. If you like seafood, this is not your go to place. If you want to have a drink on the deck and look at the lake then probably ok.More
Really enjoyed the atmosphere and the salmon burger! We had to wait 40 mins for a table for 8, which is not bad for a busy Friday night. Great service, and would recommend for a casual evening on the lake
wish I could leave -1 star. My friends birthday dinner was a complete failure. the night started with a customer saying "good luck we've been seated for an hour with no service. after receiving our Entrees came out in a timely manner with 2 medium-well...steaks (ordered medium rare) and a flavorless CAJUN pasta. All orders were sent back and returned still well done... after reviving the bill. The birthday boy had to ask for a deduction for not being able to eat at dinner. They gave him a free dessert that came out 45 mins after we waited for the bills...and....and $8 DEDUCTION from only HIS bill. When Scott the manager was questioned about this after the meal there was a blame on the owner of the restaurant and an insincere apology stating "they would be upset to"...but obviously no one is to blame that was serving...right?
locals beware... I rarely write a review and this is a special instance of WHY REVIEWS ARE IMPORTANT TO AN ESTABLISHMENTMore
In the past - not so bad - Last evening disgusting.
The parking lot was full so I parked and as the family waited in the car I went in to ask about the wait time. Host staff said to dine in was immediate and...the outside about 30 minutes. So walked out to get everyone and returned within a couple minutes. Now, although we saw no one enter while we were walking back in, the host staff said "Over an hour wait for inside and 90 minutes for outside." Really? Never going there again.
Good news - the Cuban restaurant next door was Excellent.More
Please do not listen to the bad reviews! We almost didn’t go because of them and our service, food and atmosphere was perfect!! You can get a drink while you wait to be seated...plenty of outdoor benches while you wait! Everybody was so kind and...attentive! The mahi-mahi sandwich was amazing and my husband loved the clam chowder, peel and eat shrimp and oyster Rockefeller was so delicious! Drinks were also made perfectly! Can’t wait to come back!!More
We visited your restaurant on 4/16/21 and received the worst service ever. We have patronized this business and always received top knotch service from the hostesses, waitress, and cook. My shrimp chowder didn't come with any shrimp at all. I notified the waitress and a...gentleman came from the bar. He took the chowder back to the kitchen. 30mins passed by with no chowder. He came back to inquire. Finally the chowder came, and my dinner had come out by this time. My whole meal was messed up. The waitress never came back to the table for drinks refills. It was a party of 5 . The bill came and we were charged for the chowder, which we was a shock because the major issues. We requested to speak with the manager, She was rude and refused any compassion. This place has changed for the worst 😕More

Eddies has a $7.95 lunch special that is valid Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.. Fish tacos can be ordered from that menu and are served in an order of two. However, on their full menu they offer the fish tacos and they come as an order of three. So if you are dining during lunch, clarification just needs to be made on whether you prefer 2 or 3 tacos. They are fantastic!
