First visit to Nara Express. True to their word the food was great, and fast service. The dining room is very clean, the menu options are good and the staff is very polite.

Great Japanese, actually really good tasting, probably the best carrots I've ever tasted. Sauce and all is as good as to be expected. Staff is also very friendly, even come to your table to see how everything is and refill drinks which I was not expecting. One thing I really thought when I ate there was that the chicken actually... If you're looking for real Japanese food, this will probably disappoint you. It's basically a stir fry grill with steak, chicken, shrimp and/or scallops, served with rice and veggies. The restaurant is old but relatively clean. Food was cooked fast, and was a good portion size, but not the most satisfying. Not my taste personally, but it's probably the closest... More

I called in a to go order, and have never eaten inside. We got the Hibachi Chicken, Shrimp and Steak and Chicken Wings. Picked it up in 20 minutes at the drive thru window. They send along something called Shrimp Sauce. Everything was delicious, the wings were a nice size and the Shrimp Sauce tasted great on everything. Plenty of... More

Can't wait for the new Japanese restaurant to open. If you live in Marion then you know the inside joke that this is really a Mexican food place. The portions get smaller by the year and the quality has gone so far down it is not even funny. People in Marion do not enjoy good food. That is why places... More

They always serve good food that is cooked when the order is placed and they are quick! The prices are so in line for families on a budget.

I have eaten here many times, and never been disappointed. Most recently I got takeout here for my sister and myself. Our favorite is the Hibachi Steak tips, which comes with rice, mushrooms, and sweet carrots for about $7. Service is fast and friendly, and the food is good and very affordable. I've also gotten the Hibachi Chicken, which is... More

Our family visits Nara quite frequently. There are many advantages. The food is always fast, reasonable and is served very quickly. They also have a to-go option with their drive through. It is perfect for a quick meal.

Anymore, every small town in the southeast has one or more quick serve Japanese takeout spots. I have eaten in many, and Nara Express does it right. Food is simple, but freshly made, as quick as McDonalds but much tastier. Hibachi style, Teriyaki style, grilled to order and always tasty.
