Best chicken Hands Down

The van turned right into the parking lot. My husband and I had eaten at a Fatz in Camden, SC early last year and raved over the chicken. Since it was my sister's first time to visit, the waitress brought a sample of the calabash chicken to the table. She was sold. We both had a fried chicken... read more

This was our first FATZ experience. My wife and I are controlling our cholesterol by diet. My wife tends to eat Vegetarian (no meat); she will eat fish. I prefer Vegen (No meat, dairy or eggs) as it has zero cholesterol. There were no Vegetarian or Vegen items flagged in the menu. So, I had the salmon and broccolli and... More

This is an excellent restaurant, with food consistent, no matter the location. The service is friendly and quick. The menu is varied from burgers, to seafood, to steak, and pasta. They have the BEST sweet tea of any place I have ever eaten. They have a well stocked sports bar. Their prices are very reasonable and the servings are huge.... More

My wife and I recently visited this location for an evening meal. There is more than plenty to eat on the Calabash Chicken platter (with leftovers). My wife had the new Mediterranean Tilapia dish and she enjoyed it as well. It is not a big portion, but she indicated it was just enough and very tasty. Service is always good... More

I really enjoyed by Triple Catch, delicious white fish, shrimp and popcorn shrimp, lighty battered with a fresh and non greasy taste, however my hubby's lowcountry shrimp and grits were almost inedible. Dry and lumpy and overly spiced..only thing that saved his meal was the yummy poppyseed rolls and his Caesar salad was good, not great.

Ate here while in mountains,,had cheese fries and calabash combo. Lots of good food had to take some home. I like this place but I think 2.49 is way too much for a glass of unsweetened tea! I will order water next time . Don't understand why a drink cost so much,

We went with friends, and a visiting missionary after church and they didn't have a table big enoughfor 12 of us to sit together. Some of our food was good some was not. Potato soup is just watery mashed potatoes. Rolls were hard and cold. My friends always want to give them another try when they come to town. Locals... More

Ate here on our trip. Had to wait for hostess. A server walked by and never spoke to us. Lucky us he ended up being our server Slow, unenthusiastic. He didn't deliver our food or check back. We waited for the bill. No excuse for a slow night Food was just ok.

Stopped here on the way to Hickory. We always stop at a Fatz when we see one traveling as there aren't any near us in the Smokies. It is always good food, generous portions and very reasonable prices! Can't go wrong. Just wish they would open one in Sevierville or Pigeon Forge, TN!
