This is worth etting off Intersate 40 for.

They have a large variety of menu items. Our group ate all of them I believe. No one complained, I ate the Barbeque Pork but taste the chicken, oh man was it good. If you are going up I 40 near Marion, this place is worth the drive off the Interstate.

My husband & I stopped through Marion on our way home from Banner Elk & saw the high reviews on TripAdvisor & a menu at the Visitor's Center for Countryside BBQ. The BBQ was decent, collards were prepped well, & fried okra pretty good. Nothing to write home about but good Southern food. Our server & other staff were very... More

We went to this restaurant as the end-event for a local memorial service, so our dining circumstance was somewhat unique. The food was good, especially the pulled pork sandwich and the very large and tasty fried chicken salad. The burger ordered by one person in our party was just okay. I would visit again because so much of the food... More

The smoked chicken half is well worth the visit. The flounder sandwich is delicious too. The parking lot is full, but the wait, is worth it.

Stopped in on a visit through the mountains. Good NC style BBQ. Fast service and friendly staff. Would stop by next trip.

I try to eat here at least once a month. It's conveniently located right off two exits, so if you miss one, catch it at the next. I'm from back east and this is the closest I can come to Eastern Style BBQ here in the mountains. The rest of the menu is just as good! My place of employment... More

Based on the reviews we ate here for lunch during a daytrip looking at fall leaves. We weren't disappointed. Service was good. ..and they were BUSY. We each got different meals & liked them all. Can't say any were the best I've ever had but they tasted good & we're reasonable prices.

I'm always skeptical of BBQ places. Either it's too spicy or too dry. Here they serve their BBQ with your choice of sauce on the side. So you can add as much zing or sweetness as you like. Beware of the dessert menu. It is deceptive. The desserts are huge! It's best to split one.

Wow what can I say but yummy yummy. If you want a variety of country food to choose from then this is the place. And the home made coconut pie was as close to grandma's as I've had in a while.
