Stopped in on our way thru Maggie Valley while on vacation. It looked liked a very nice restaurant, so we stopped. The restaurant is very well kept and very nice. Wait staff was very attentive and great. However, the food was bland and overpriced. Won't be on the to do list next time we are in the area.

We stopped here two nights running as it was so good. The food was excellent - if you like fish, try the grilled salmon or basa fillets, they're amazing - and the service was polite, friendly and very attentive. There is a wide choice on the menu - food AND drinks - and plenty of "specials" on the day. Prices... More

Wonderful restaurant. There were six of us and everyone thought the food was great. Service was excellent. From prime rib to barbecue ,,, the menu surprised me with so many options.

We enjoyed our dinner at J Arthurs. The inside was warm and inviting and food was pretty good. The salad I had was so big I could finish it. The wine list was not bad. I will be back here the next time I am in Maggie Valley.

We were initially told that they were busy and they would attempt to work us in, however upon arrival we were immediately seated. The server was quoting the evening specials from memory. Impressive! We choose the seafood platter. Good and filling. We received our bill which did not include the glass of wine. Of course we had this added to... More

We ate here last nightwith friends, and everyone was very happy with their meals. I had the chicken pasta, very good, but the ribs were excellent. Very good service, reasonable prices, and I would definitely recommend this place

Went in expecting a really good meal. I got the Prime Rib and it was....OK. (Good taste but a little tough). The overall experience was OK. This is a decent restaurant but a bit on the pricey side and not as good as I would have expected for the price.

We eat at J. Arthur's every year in July. We wouldn't miss it. We are with a group of 30-40 people there each year and everyone enjoys their meal. The trout, ribeye, and prime rib are great. They make their own salad dressings. I think their blue cheese is great. We'll be back there in July 0f 2017.

Our server, Frankie was absolutely on point hence the 3 rating. Otherwise would have been a 2. WAAAAY overpriced. Prime rib was very good and cooked properly but $$$$$. By far they best thing they do is French Onion soup. 5 people in our group and the unanimous consensus was "everything was bland"... including the soup but soup easily fixed... More
