My husband and I had breakfast there one morning. The food was absolutely wonderful. The service was great too. Would definitely go again.

Wife and I ate here for lunch.. Some of the things that went wrong here, might not be their problem but some was. I had country fried steak-- that will not be on my order again. So we are going to try this restaurant again.. Our server, Heather, was great and took care of the problem as best as she could.... More

I'm going to start out saying it looks a little pricey when reading the menu. You're going to forget the price when see the plate of delicious food delivered to your table. My wife had the meatloaf while I had the Maggie Burger (two generous angus beef patties). I was only able to finish that burger because it was so... More

This a simple everday restarant with food prepared very well. They are open 7 days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They welcome families large or small, bike groups and local people and tourist well because they have ample room and big tables. Dress is very casual. Service is quick and attentive during your meal. We had breakfast here last week and found that it is a great place for breakfast and a good value. I had the two eggs, grits, with pancakes and bacon. My wife had the two eggs with bacon. We like the fact that the coffee is brought to the table and left so that we can replenish our cups as... More

Just arrived in Maggie Valley and decided to try it for dinner since they have a sign saying they serve NC trout. Was really looking forward to it- however truly a disappointment- the grilled trout was overcooked and dry, as were the cornbread muffins. The collard greens and Mac and cheese that we ordered lacked flavor. The 2 positives were... More

Whether you know it as The Maggie Valley Restaurant or Carvers, chances are if you know it, you've been more than once. I've driven by this place every time I've been in town, or nearby. This time I was thinking about trout. I had tunnel vision and thought I'd seen a sign that quietly announced, "we serve trout." I pulled... More

I ate the grilled chicken at this restaurant with sweet potatoe fries. I am a fan of sweet potato fries, but these were lacking in flavor. The grilled chicken was very good. It is a regular spot for us to eat when visiting Maggie Valley. There were a lot of people present when we were there, a popular place apparently.
