We went with a group of 20 camping club members. I was pleasantly surprised after reading negative reviews, everything was excellent. Service good, nice room, pleasant atmosphere and delicious food. We will be back!

Food Was very good. Good menu, good food. Wings were great, homemade blue cheese was even better. Would stop again.

While vacationing in Maggie Valley we decided to try the Salty Dog's. When got there around 4:30, a little early for the supper crowd, there was no one in the restaurant and no staff present. We sat down at a table and shortly after another couple arrived. They took a seat and grabbed menus from beside the door. I went... More

Service below par, chowder good, friend scallops not so much. Big salads, but did they have to wait until the lettuce grew?

We have eaten here several times while on vacation in the area. The chicken wings and homemade wing chips are great. Wish I could comment on the other items they serve, but wings are so good that's what we always get.

Dropped in for a bite after driving through and around GSMNP. Mid afternoon. Only one other table was over occupied and they shortly after our arrival. The grilled grouper sandwich and the fried catfish sandwich were more than acceptable. As was the slaw and iced tea. Prompt attentive service. $26 without tip seemed a bit high.

The place is Rustic, our server recommend the hand made onion rings, they were yummy.. This place has lots of adult beverages and it is more of an adult hangout...The food was good and the prices were fair...Something a little different in the Valley..

Just was walking by, and stopped in for dinner and drinks. Got lucky and a band was playing. Cute place.
