The biscuit and gravy is quite unappealing. We ate here once and that was enough. Some people seem to like it. Not sure why. Could have been a lot better.

Zippers serves good basic hearty food. Very popular. Fast and inexpensive. The clientele are old south. You don't need a full set of teeth to dine here.

We had lunch here. The shrimp cocktail was very large and great nachos but thr Caronaitas were disappointing.

The quality of the food is not what it use to be at all. And the cocktails are disappointing now also. Zippers use to be a lot better place to dine & hang out than it is now. Although there's never been a lot of room to socialize in the bar because the area is tiny. This place needs to... More

This is a good local restaurant with a large menu selection. Don't forget to look at the specials board, there are many more item listed there. The food is good, but not great. Priced fair.

The first time we ate here, the food and service were good, but we were charged for three dinners instead of two. The cashier argued with us until we insisted she call our waitress to verify how many plates we had. On our second visit, we got our order and never saw the waitress again. The food was not so... I've never been to this restaurant in the evening so I can't speak about the bar/biker crowd. I have been at lunchtime and while the food is certainly edible, it can be a bit reminiscent of cafeteria food...generic, tastes like it's purchased and cooked in huge quantities...nothing on the lunch/dinner menu that has wow-wow-wowed me yet. But when you're in... More

used to be a reliable, affordable place to eat - now, not so much... the last time we ate there was .15 cent shrimp day - hello? they were not using the word shrimp loosely! these things were so small that they were nearly impossible to peel. Couldn't believe it - and the prices have gone skyhigh. I recommend going... More

Zippers is located in a shopping center that is growing with new stores and popularity in the Lincoln County seat. We never seemed to think about Lincolnton restaurants until we found Zippers for breakfast. This is not a fancy place at all. Some tables are leveled using cardboard from Miller Beer boxes, to give you an idea. But, the coffee... More
