About 20 of us had a wonderful dinner in the dining area near the bar on Friday night. As the bride's parents, we have been to LaStrada many times over the past 16 years. We are never disappointed. Jason and Lorraine served our group exclusive....Both these servers were top notch, helpful, friendly, superb in every way.More

Oh my gosh, where should I start. First we all arrived early and parked all 52 cars. The view was amazing so we were able to get our photo shoot done early. Mary met us and let us know our large group would be on...the patio. PERFECT. They had the food set up on each side so the was no wait time while getting your food. Then it was don't load up too much because there was plenty of wonderful food. All the food was very fresh and hot. Desert was also amazing. La Strada is blessed with having excellent waitstaff who didn't leave anyone unattended. As the event planner I had the pleasure of working with Joe, the owner. He was very easy to work with and we counted down the days to our event so our members could enjoy the great food at La Strada's. The price point was on target for our budget and a great value for what we ordered. We highly recommend a trip to La Strada. THANKS to your entire staff.More

LaStrada provided catering for my daughters wedding on 9/11/21! I cannot say enough about the professionalism and service provided. The food was both generous and delicious. Our guest gave many compliments on the meal! Absolute success

We stop at La Strada every time we visit Lake Lure and love it. Its casual and friendly and we love the food. The wait staff is professional and attentive. Many local hotel restaurants are only open Friday & Saturday and a bit pricey. But...La Strata is open 6 nights a week and always consistently good. We'll be back !!More

Overrated. Busy but inconsistent in seating guests. Allowed some to change seating and refused others. Impersonal service. Cocktail was watery without listed ingredient ( muddled basil). Trout was overdone and tasteless. Large portions do not make up for quality. Would not visit agin despite limited...restaurants in immediate area.More

First let me say I enjoyed my eggplant Parmesan. The pasta was baked with it. Unusual but good. So here goes the issue. My wife is gluten-free. We went to a restaurant in Asheville by the same name, She enjoyed their gluten-free fare, we thought...it was the same owners. Wrong. However when we sat down they handed us a GF menu, so I took that as a very good sign. Off the gluten-free menu my wife ordered the nachos. She asked twice, to make sure that it was definitely gluten-free and she was told yes. As my wife ate her nachos, she noticed that there were two different types of chips in the nachos. She mentioned that the taste in one was definitely different than the gluten free corn tortilla chips that she’s used to. And in appearance, they were definitely two distinctly different chips. The waitress at first thought it was fine, then went back into the kitchen, came back and said the second type of chips in the nachos should not be in there. We asked for the manager. She came and looked at the plate, and said that the chips were fine. My wife pointed to the chips again that they were two different types. At that point she admitted we were right, took the plates and said she’d find out what happened in the kitchen. Our waitress Taylor was very good and empathetic to what it happened. While my wife does not have celiac she does react poorly within two or three hours of eating gluten. Anyways they took the nachos back as I mentioned, my wife ordered a hamburger instead. By the time it arrived I finished my dinner. My wife had about half of the burger since it was getting late and she was starting to feel a little bit off with her stomach so we asked for the check. When the bill came the nachos were taken off, but shockingly they still charged us for a burger. This after telling the manager that my wife will probably get pretty sick within about two or three hours of getting home. When we called the manager over to ask why my wife’s meal was not comped, all she would say is that she took the nachos off. We just sort of sugar heads at that point. We mentioned it to our waitress Taylor when we enter the credit card. Taylor who again we thought did a great job. She spoke with the manager and at that point they took it off the bill. The manager then came over and apologized and said it’s been a rough night, and I do get that, but for gluten-free, and somebody with those types of allergies, if somebody had celiac, the results could’ve been very bad. Either way it was just a very disappointing evening.More

Very confused checking in. Our buzzer went off, they had us for 4 outside, no…..we are 2 for inside. Finally figured that one out. Ordered pizza and a shrimp linguini……pizza came out, then the entree….it was barely warm. Then table next to us got same...dish and it came out piping hot, i could see steam from my table. Service was a bit slow. Food was good, not sure if we would go back.More

We dined here on a Friday evening and parking was easy and plentiful.. We were seated immediately. Our server was friendly and prompt. Food arrived quickly. Both our meals were very good and HUGE. The bread that was served first was too garlicky for me,...but if you like a lot of garlic, you will love it. ALL the staff wore masks! Hooray!More

Unfortunately only service dogs are allowed at the restaurant however, there are picnic benches just across from the restaurant next to the lake and the entire menu is available to carry-out if that is an option
