Lovely carvery good value friendly staff even though it was Easter bank holiday and they were hard at work whilst most people were on holiday.

Perfectly palatable and agreeable carvery meal at a more than reasonable price. Pleasant enough surroundings, maybe the staff could have been a little more attentive, but no real grumbles. 2 carvery meals with 2 dessert and 2 drinks all for £17-50 is more than satisfactory.

I have previously visited this place and whilst service has always been lacking - the food used to good. Not any more. A change of kitchen staff and standards have collapsed. Sausages had been cooked so long they were barely edible. The bacon was swimming in its own fat and the eggs were so undercooked there was still raw white... More

I visited the Bull's Head in Thringstone for a Sunday carvery whilst recovering from a pretty hard night on the tiles. I had rung in advance and had been advised that for a table for two there was absolutely no need to book however when we arrived we ended up waiting 20 minutes for a table which was most irritating.... I love eating at this place because the carvery is so good & you even have the choice of a half chicken instead of the other meat choices. I love the big selection of veg & onion gravy. The staff were really great this time around - pleasant, welcoming and efficient - and the window seat on this sunny day... More

We stopped here after a midweek walk with the dog and grabbed a table outside for some lunch as it was very mild out. It's fine for a pint or a coffee but the food was pretty awful. Probably the standard of a Wetherspoons on a bad day but spoons is cheaper. It was very busy and obviously popular with... More
