We had a long wait due to covid restrictions but it was well worth it. Great food very friendly service. Definitely recommend.

On 9-3-2020 my family and I ate dinner and was sat in what was the waiting area but had a table set up. 6 of us sat in a plastic sheet made room with six fans blowing all around due to no A/C in this...room.(in covid times and fans blowing air from all the people coming in and out the door) We walked in the main part of the restaurant to go to the buffet and this area was much cooler. We said something to our waitress about it being hot and she made an excuse about the air not working. After sweating and one of the little ones with us almost got sick from being so hot we asked for the manager as it was to hot to eat that much food for the price and he/she would not come out of the kitchen to resolve any issues. Was told by staff to call tomorrow and leave a message and they would call back. We will see. At this point I will not be going back.More

We went with family. Crab legs were amazing... shrimp was excellent. Lobster was not good. It was watery. Neat experience though. Very southern! I would go back. Advertise steak but not on buffet. Key lime pie was not good.

Great selection. I had a portion of nearly everything seafood. If I did not have something my wife did. Highlights for me were the salmon, seared tuna, shark, casino clams, crab stuffed mushrooms, and crawfish. The sides were okay but that’s not why I went....Our waitress was GREAT. If you have picky kids, ask for a menu. Dessert portions are small (which I liked) but all you can eat as well. I would go back if I visit again.More

We visited Jimmys while on a trip to Nags Head. We normally are not buffet people but we heard that this is a must do. If you love seafood this is an incredible value. The selection is phenomenal. It's a wonderful opportunity to try new...and unique things. Everything that we tried was both fresh and delicious. Jake our waiter was beyond excellent. He explained everything and stopped often to check on us. There's a great selection of crab legs. Desserts were fantastic. When you consider all of the variety that you can choose from you would certainly pay far more in a sit down restaurant for that kind of selection. My seven year old loves crab legs and she had a blast here at Jimmy's. Definitely make this a stop on your trip.More

It had been years since I've been in. Last time, and the reason for not coming back, was the amount of people crammed in, back to back...couldn't move. Thanks to Covid, haha, this time was amazing. There were things in place to make people feel...safe I guess, all seemed to work. The i was happy with my food, destroyed the legs and clams for sure. Haha. Sucks spending 30 some bucks to watch my 16 year old eat chicken tenders, but overall I still spent less than had I cooked it myself.More

We decided to try it after seeing an ad showing all you can eat lobster tails until 4pm on Fridays. We arrived around 2pm as other reviews mentioned that it was worth being early as waiting lines get heavy. So we were the first ones...in line and I was a little hesitant as didn't see much movement. shortly thereafter there was a line of people waiting to get in and at 230 the place got full. They had a lot of food selections just as shown in the menu. They never ran out of lobster tails or crab legs. I'll say that the lobster tails were good and the crab legs too. I'll come back for the lobster-defently! Our server was very nice and attentive.More

other reviews were accurate. shrimp and clam strips taste like bought in grocery freezer section and fried. way too much bland breading on shrimp. Biggest redeeming factor is the crab cakes were the best I've had so far.

We drove 2 hours for this place with 4 year old son to eat lonsters. Today was the 3rd time we visit the restaurant this summer. They used to charge $5+kid's age. So we started eating lobsters and fed our son lobsters. The server lady...came to us and told us that we could not feed lobsters to our son if we do not pay a full adult price. We have never heard about that policy nor paid a full price for our son. So we asked a server to talk with a manager in charge. And the server told us that the owner is busy. We kept asking to see the owner if she is available, but we could not see the owner until we left the restaurant. The server told the owner was busy and it was policy there is nothing to talk about. We kept asking the server to bring the owner, but we could not have a chance to see the owner. I wish the manager or owner explains and handles about the situation like this. I have never experienced the manager refuse to see guests at restaurants. It is very unpleasant experience and we will not go back to this place or recommend to friends.More

We still charge age plus $5. That doesn’t change when eating buffet. When ordering OFF BUFFET, we do charge different. When eating the AYCE LOBSTER, We charge for that. Your waitress tried to explain so you didn’t have to pay something you were not familiar...More

It’s kind of hard to navigate throughout with tight spaces.I am not sure what makes it compliant for sure. They do not have stairs to navigate into the main floor seating and buffet area

It is a seafood buffet so I didn’t really see a menu but there were lots of options for kids on the buffet.

Usually the best times are before 5:30pm or after 7:30pm. The food stays plentiful until 10:30pm. The less busy days are Sundays Monday and Saturday. Call and get your name on the waitlist to cut down wait time
