Wacky Wednesday's they have ten different types of crab legs. They also had lobster tails and claws. The Tile fish was new but totally amazing. So much seafood that you definitely want to bring your appetite with you.

You gotta love the whiners. You want a Michelin Star drive to Charlotte. You’re not going to get a half pound crab cake on a buffet. Or a three pound lob-sta tail. Or a one pound flounder filet. Do people realize how much food is...wasted already by picky eaters. They provide smaller portions to avoid waste. If you want a big crab cake ask, they’ll probably make you one cuz you’re special. Otherwise take a plate full of the minis and get over it. We love Jimmy’s. Great job you guys.More

Embarrassing. The tails were definitely from less than a one pound lobster. Carb cakes were microscopic crab balls. Crabs were just OK. All other menu items including dessert were horrible. $12 for a 12 ounce draft. Any local clam shack in Mass, NH, Maine or...Vermont would put the place to same for 1/4 the price. Don’t waste your time, and hard earned money. For 2 people my total bill came to $160 with tip. From what I can figure, they owe me about $140!!!!More

I had low expectations for this place, being a buffet and a touristy one at that. I also had some memories of here from my youth and remembered it was just ok. While the food was still nothing amazing other than a couple options it...was better than most other places we tried on the trip. Like most places in the Outer Banks you have to get here early or will be waiting for ever for a table. If I could have changed one thing about this trip, it would have been to better plan our dining outings. Jimmy's has decent food on the buffet and the crab legs were fresh and delicious but for me the stand out was the Crab Bisque, I would go back just for this.More

I prefer this over Captain George’s for the lobster alone! Add UNLIMITED whole lobsters to your meal for an extra few dollars. Are you kidding me??? I had the crab legs and lobsters and that’s it. I was in heaven. They seemed to have a...nice variety of other items but I did t care. Just bring me the lobsters. The only bad part was that their crackers were dull and made it difficult to crack them. Compared to driving all the way to Rhode Island, this is an easy drive from Virginia.More

Food was good. Not great. Crowded. Really crowded. And noisy. Wayyy overpriced. Other buffet is less expensive and still good food. Don't get key lime pie. It's not soft. Almost like a week old. Dry. No lime taste. Other desserts great. Seafood variety was good....Lots of local food. Lobster claws wet ok. Crab legs and scallops were great. The food line was between tables and trying to eat with people standing in food line beside you is annoying to say the least. And it's expensiveMore

First, call ahead as hours are not always accurately stated on website and arrive early. Opened at 4 pm today, arrived at 3:45 and there was a line of about 40 people in line. Limited parking and very limited inside seating. Very cramped when busy...which is just about always. Had a wide selection of crab, blue crab, soft crab, dungeness, crab legs, stone crab, shrimp to name a few. Salad bar, veggies, variety of fish, fried oysters and soups. Most seafood good, but don't waste your time on what they call crab cakes, im from MD and they weren't close to any crab cake Ive eaten. The crab bisque did not have the rue properly prepared, tasted of raw flour. Desserts sat to long, key lime and cheesecake was rubbery. Very cramped inside. Buffet line is difficult to manuever. Not much room between seats to move around. Staff very friendly and our server, Kellie H was excellent.More

Our visit was damn near a religious experience. Loved being able to call ahead and get out spot in line- this was super important since we had kids with us- when we arrived they were even able to seat us a bit earlier than the...original quoted time! We definitely got our money’s worth and our server was great. We never felt rushed and this was just a great experience. You can tell the staff pours their heart and soul into what they do- the food is cooked with love! (And butter)More

Excellent food. Great variety, but not lacking quality as some buffets. The crab dip was some of the best I've had anywhere. Service was good. Considering you get unlimited crab legs (and every other imaginable sea food including shark) the price is very reasonable. Don't...bring young kids if you can avoid it, not too much they would like, as should be expected. Crowded; go early, not at dinner time.More

Great server. We had the buffet. Not for the budget-minded. Grandkids...sort of a waste because of their peculiar tastes. Better to order off the menu. There were customers in all kinds of attire, including bathing suits. Not a place to repeat.

This buffets had a HUGE variety of all sorts of seafood. 4 or 5 different kind of crab(that I could remember), shrimp, scallops, swordfish, shark..the list could go on. If you are questioning what shark tastes like, don’t. Just eat it. It’s amazing. I went...back for thirds. $48/person seems like a lot but if you focus on protein and try a little bit of carbs/starch here and there, you’ll get your monies worth. If you’re not a seafood lover, don’t worry..there is PLENTY of other choices to pick from! There’s a salad bar. There was soup. There were veggies. I’m pretty sure I saw chicken tenders for the really picky eaters out there(haha). There was a whole section of desserts which included different types of pies, cookies, brownies, and an ice cream machine. I normally don’t go to buffets but my husband insisted so that he could eat as much crab as he wanted and I’d have to say, I’d go to this one again if we are ever back down in the OBX. Oh and our server was absolutely amazing. Very attentive. Kept our scrap buckets empty, removed used plates, and made sure our waters were always filled!More

All you can eat crab legs, lobster, shark, swordfish, crab, scallops and much, much more! The staff was incredible and the price at 48.00 per person was amazing! My husband had five plates full of crab legs, plus dessert! I had crab legs, lobster, shark,...swordfish, corn on the cob, fruit, sweet potato fries, squash, corn on the cob and green beans! Truly the best seafood buffet we have ever been too! A must for seafood lovers!More

This place was awesome!!! The buffet had many options of both seafood and American food, perfect for our picky family. Our server Victoria was very friendly and easygoing. The restaurant was packed but they still accommodated our party of seven within 20 minutes. I liked...supporting this restaurant more than a big chain like Captain George’s. We will return next time we are in Outer Banks.More

We spent over an hour searching Google for take out options in the OBX. Every time we found a great menu, we called and either the phone was not answered or we were diverted to a message that take out orders were not being accepted...- Then we found Jimmy's online. We were able to order what we wanted at very reasonable prices and pick up in a reasonable time frame. There was a minor error in our order which they identified and resolved prior to pick up and threw in extra for the slight time delay to correct. At that point we were so frustrated with the other take out options we would likely have accepted the error without complaint but the extra effort was appreciated. Next trip we plan to eat in.More

We came on Thurs. for the lobster claws on the buffet which were worth it, btw. This was our first time dining there and wow....amazing food! I liked it much better than other chain seafood buffets. They had their own spin and seasonings on just...about everything and it tasted so good. The stuffed mushrooms, broiled fresh fish, steamed clams, crab legs, and blue crabs were my favorites. I didn't eat anything fried but there was plenty of that if you like fried seafood. Peanut butter pie for dessert was spot on. We had great service while dining at the bar as well. Our server, Kirby, was friendly and attentive and the restaurant had a down home vibe to it. I truly enjoyed this establishment and their food and wish it was closer to my home.More

Usually the best times are before 5:30pm or after 7:30pm. The food stays plentiful until 10:30pm. The less busy days are Sundays Monday and Saturday. Call and get your name on the waitlist to cut down wait time
