We decided to stop here for a thirst stop. Nice place that uses wind power to supplement its energy use. As we stopped to grab a beer we didn't eat. The food we saw looked very good. The beers didn't disappoint. We each like a...different style and this Brewery hit all the marks. Dont pass this one byMore

No trip to the Banks is complete for me without at least one stop at OBBS. This year, I hit it up twice but I didn't grab any food...just beer. My all time fav is the Lemongrass, but the Chocolate Porter was pretty darn good.

Stopped for lunch on the way to check into our hotel. We were greeted with a friendly welcome and asked where we’d like to sit. We chose the bar. Service was slow as the bartender was also covering tables. We came here for the tuna...on the menu but they did not have tuna today. The menu had typical burger and fried food which we did not want. The beer was good and we had nacho chips with pica de gallo.More

I highly recommend the chicken sandwich. The breast was huge. The bbq had too much of a vinegar taste for me. Ribs fell off the bone.

It was our first stop on our Kiteboarding vacation. The shrimp and grits was the best we had and the lemon grass beer was incredible. Highly recommend

Food and drinks are below avg .. things are tasteless .. fried with too much residual oil.. beer is stale.. they say they brew it themselves but what was served was probably many many days old stuff.. That lemongrass beer seems to have a sugar...syrup mixed in it. Service was OK once we sat down but most ppl there seem dissatisfied and feel like they don’t work in a good environment. When we entered and waited waited for someone to seat us.. at least 10 servers etc passed by but no one bothered to ask or even acknowledge. It’s and avg place and you don’t want to spend your vacation time eating out at an avg place.More

When you give a 5 star rating you are prompted with a question like "Is this one of the best meals you've ever had?" Well, I can say this meal was ONE OF THE WORST I've ever had. It started with their "famous" hard cider....It wasn't cold, and it tasted like a combination of fruit, honey and beer. Sickeningly sweet. The peel and eat shrimp seemed like a good choice along with some hushpuppies. The shrimp were bland with a small sprinkling of Old Bay on the bottom of the plate, not on the shrimp. There was no seasoning on the shrimp. My daughter suggested the taste was more like pond raised in WV than something you'd get near the ocean. They were served with a small container of cocktail sauce that tasted like it had been cut with ketchup. On to the mahi mahi sandwich which had looked so promising on the menu! It was overcooked so it was dry and there were no seasonings on it. The sweet potato fries were super sweet with no seasoning. The bean burger was okay but nothing exciting. This whole meal was horrible and I can seriously make better seafood at home. With how lousy the cider was, we see no reason to ever go here again. Many other good restaurants to choose from.More

We generally have at least one meal here on any trip to OBX. In April 2021, we found the service and food to be excellent. Great fish, wonderful salad, very good soup. Service was excellent even as the dining room filled. Good outdoor space for...those worried about indoor dining. Beer always is top-notch.More

Since COVID began, this brew pub created a virtual tour and tasting. Eric, our host, was hilarious, energetic and informative as he passionately shared the process of making really good beer. We tasted different grains, different beers. Generous tastings of 4 different brews. Really a...bargain for the $10 price tag. Had a really good Cuban sandwich after. Our friends had pulled pork which was generous and tasty. Highly recommend this tour.More
