This restaurant lived up to the great reviews. We loved the little cottage setting with the beautiful trees. We shared the hot crab dip and a Caesar salad, both were delicious. We then had the shrimp and scallops-they were perfectly cooked. The service was attentive....More

This is a must place to eat while in Outer Banks. The food was prepared perfectly and the fact they took care with my gluten free needs was impressive.

It came highly recommended, and I can see why. With a comfortable setting in a tucked away area, it was obvious it's a local favorite for nicer dining. The food tasted as wonderfully as it was displayed.

A special server named Billy, makes our dining experience special every time! He is an amazing, energetic and personable young man. We can't wait to go back each season and hear how he's been. And by the way, the food is wonderful too! I had...More

One of the first places that my husband and I dined over 15 years ago. Food is wonderful, staff is kind and helpful. Even during the tourist season never feel rushed.

The food is good but not great, and priced for fine dining. They are a bit pretentious about their food and if there is a problem with your meal the manager is sent over to convince you that it is not their execution but you...More

We went without a reservation and were seated right away. We ordered a bottle of wine and lingered after desserts and never felt rushed. Excellent service, our water glasses were always topped up. Wonderful meal in wonderful surroundings. Recommend and we will return.

This cafe is in an old house off the main highway. The food is very good but we found the restaurant to be pretty noisy. A note to those traveling with a stair-challenged person, tell the hostess you need a table downstairs. There is no...More

Nestled off the beaten path in a Victorian house surrounded by 400 year-old oak trees, we are a local's favorite. Our seafood is brought in fresh daily, and we use locally grown ingredients. All the locals love our filet dishes as well as our large menu. All desserts are homemade. We are a family run restaurant with most of our staff having been with us for over 15 years. We do everything to make sure all of our customers leave happy.
